awesome! i hope you enjoy it as much as we did... it's high season now.. so although it might be a little livelier, hopefully you won't have much rain.. ENJOY!
Wow, it's just wow . This is the kind travel blog we need. It's like a documentary except better. I've been watching Thailand video for a long time. I came from there, and I would love to go back and live there. Life is slow, not like usA and other Western countries . Manifesting it every. Single day. Sometimes I think about it too much. I even have dreams about it.
keep manifesting!!!! if you do, you will continue to make conscious and subconscious decisions that will inevitably get you here... in the meantime though, thank you for your kind words!! it helps keep us motivated to make more videos
....And then, months since we heard from you last, you pop up in Thailand with another absolute gem of a video, perfectly paced and narrated, and guaranteed to give me a dose of travel fever. I wish you would take this travel vlogging business more seriously, as you have a God-given talent to accurately transmit the vibe of your destination. See you in a few months, or hopefully sooner.
I went to your channel page to choose another video to watch, only to find that you've been posting quite frequently. I wish I could rely on RUclips to actually do what they claim to do, and offer me videos from my favourite channels with greater reliability.
wow, man... you definitely know how to motivate people!! 🤣 thank you for the words of encouragement... truly!... it helps inspire us to do more... we have another episode done and so i'll probably post it later this week... and then i have about 5 episodes that have been shot, but not yet put together... so there WILL be more episodes coming soon... probably just not as fast as I'd like! But thank you again for the kind words... it really makes all the work worthwhile!
thank you so much!! the next one is Koh Kood, an island just south of Koh Mak... it should be out in a week or so... then we're starting to work on some videos from Laos!
Beautiful vlog . Well done . Just booked our stay in Koh Mak and was doing research about it and came across this vlog. Was really nice to watch . Enjoy your future travels will subscribe and wait for more .
@@AroundTheWorldWeGo waiting for it so 😀 we be doing Koh Chang , Koh Mak and Koch Kood but already I can see by your vlog we choose right not to go to Phuket but there instead . That peaceful vibe 🤩🧘♂️
@@TravelingHangry-qy9hj yes!!! there's a time and place for rowdy nightlife... but if you're looking to escape, i think you'll enjoy Mak and Kood (we have not made it to Koh Chang yet, so we look forward to your video about it!)... of course, we were there in the off-season, so it might be a different experience now.. but i'm sure you'll have a great time
Hello! We were on Koh Mak in July and Koh Kood in August

We were in the same bungalow as you until a week ago. There is no doubt. For the second time. The video is well done, no doubt about it. What kind of drone is that footage? However, the only thing I fear is that booking this place will become even more difficult and the number of people on KohMak will increase. But nothing can be done about it. Every beautiful place gets lost and over-tourism destroys it...
that's wild!! great spot for sure... the drone is a DJI mini 4 pro, but i also use an Insta360 x4, which gives the illusion of close up drone shots... but it's actually like a gopro on a stick...
also, i agree with your fears... i HOPE Koh Mak is a ways off from that happening -- and having a private family own the island and setting the rules helps ... but i agree; it's probably an inevitability... always an ethical dilemma with this stuff... on one hand, tourists don;t want more tourists, because we like to keep things "the way they are" when we experience them... but the locals i spoke with all pray for more tourists, so they can support their families... always a double-edged sword

@@AroundTheWorldWeGo We had similar equipment. The DJI Mini 4 Pro is a great companion for traveling. I don't have Insta, but I filmed with the DJI Pocket 3 and Action 5. By the way, I have the footage we took there with me, but I'm not lucky enough to have my wife as my filming assistant and actively helping me like yours. It's clear that you both enjoy making travel videos, you do it great. I just steal moments to film when she would like to do other things :-D But she likes the subsequent travel video... You've got it better :-) Go ahead and say hello to your wife.

@@AroundTheWorldWeGo It just occurred to me - that GoPro camera mount I found stuck to the outside wall of the apartment where we both lived is from you? :-)
You don't have to worry about the Island becoming too touristy, it hasn't changed much over the last 20 years and has less tourists now than 10 years ago...its a gem to spend time there and the best of the archipelago.
Well, this is "good to know" from a visitor perspective, although I'm sure the locals would welcome more business for their families... hopefully they can continue to strike a balance... thank you for the historical perspective!
You're a great storyteller. Superb vlog. I'm heading there next week.
