I thought so too! The outside is definitely rough. But the inside, you can tell the care the mom put into creating this whimsical atmosphere where her kids creativity could shine. And knowing how the game plays out and the whole picture, this makes a lot of sense. You see one thing on the outside dillapidated, unkempt, broken; but there's a whole different world inside, brimming with possibilities and life.

Marz it would be so good if you play “Life is strange” after this one. Same devs and choice based , and one of the best stories I’ve ever played. Highly recommend

That would be a humpback whale during the ferry scene! They come to my home state of Hawaii during the winter to mate and raise their young before returning to Alaska in the summer. They put on quite a show during their time here and while state law prohibits boats from approaching them less than 100 yards they will often come right up to the boat themselves. Definitely an awesome experience

It’s nice to see you actually on here, I mean I enjoy your streaming when I can catch it and appreciate that you do put some /all of it on here but it’s not the same as when you do a game that you have dedicated to RUclips. I would like to add I have no issue with you streaming as I do really enjoy it but it is a different vibe when you do a game just for RUclips and I like to see that too. All I guess I’m saying is I wish you could find a way of splitting the time a bit more evenly. It does feel it is much more 70/30 in favour of streaming right now. The big message in this game, which applies to the gameplay as well, is "don't judge". Every time you start to judge, you end up realizing you made a mistake. The player judges Mary-Ann, and then Eddy, and then Alyson. Mistake, mistake, mistake. Never judge anybody.
Wow not only does this game look gorgeous but the story seems so fascinating. I’m definitely hoping you continue with it I love your perspective on games, especially ones like this. Also I’m excited to see what’s next!

This game is going to be very interesting. I just experienced (especially the last year) how important mental health is. In times of losing social contacts, isolation and getting hit by nostalgia (how good everything was in "normal times") such videos like yours help to keep going.

I just started this one last week and am going to watch your play through right behind mine so i avoid spoilers for my own game but i like seeing the different choices in games like this. I remember when LIS2 came out and i didnt think they could make it as good as the first, but i think it was actually a much better overall game because of the numerous choices and their impact on the finish. Someone put together a compilation of all the endings and i was blown away. What a great game developer
I love games like this reminds me of life is strange these games aren't afraid to talk about subjects that other games are afraid to touch
These games always look so good, and great storytelling. Dontnod, the develops do a good job. Also, I've played this game three times now to get all achievements, and you're getting dialogue I never managed to. Always fun to find out.

also for the people who don't know what those symbols on the screen after an important choice mean. (see 0:57 for a clearer view) I finally know what they mean:
the one where the 2 star shape things separate mean that Alyson and Tyler's bonds have weakened
the one where the 2 stars come together mean that Alyson and Tyler's bonds have strengthened
This game is a reason i’m glad my mum doesn’t care if i roll with the lgbtqia+, he wasn’t allowed to be himself and he’s still healing
When I stumbled across this game on steam I couldn´t believe I almost missed a dontnod game, they are so great at telling stories and building characters.
So I´d love to see a play thru of it, cause this game is simply amazing .

I know this video is old af, but I dont think he was in juvy. I think he was in a shelter. I used to be in one too. He was defending himself, so theres no reason to be convicted. Basically if a kid doesnt have a safe environment to go home to, they're put in the foster care system. They usually live in shelters for a limited time or until they're an adult. So, that's where he was. My experience there was actually sort of like his. At first, I felt like everyone was out to get me. Later on, it felt like a family. I've never had a loving sister. Mine was sort of a demon. Telling me she hated me. Telling me she wished I would die. So, in that shelter I finally felt like I had genuine love from siblings. My brother too lol. It felt like home. We always laughed and got along fine. When there was a fight, they would make it up later on. Most of the people there were amazing people. Theyve just been through a lot. Sort of like me. We could talk about anything under the sun and we'd all understand. It was sort of great therw

Marz, Since you like choice-based games have you considered playing the Mass Effect Trilogy? In terms of well-written stories and characters to fall in love with, Mass Effect is the gold standard. The next installment has been announced and the remaster of the original trilogy will be arriving in the spring, so you might want to wait for that version. It's the perfect time to get into them and experience why they're so beloved. It's 3 games that takes into account your choices through all the games. I promise you lots of action, love, tears and laughter. You won't regret it. ❤️
