I was watching on cable "Homestead Rescuers" and they were falling a tree - the wind came up - the guy said "we can't wait for wind to die down" so he went ahead and cut it. he told everyone to hurry .. he had a hydraulic jack and a guy was jacking the thing like crazy but he did NOT do as you did .. let the wedge "tighten" then cut more .. then "tighten" wedge .. and turns out the tree fell the opposite direction and COULD have killed them .. !!! NO JOKE .. I wish they had watched your videos ... thanks for SHOWING US HOW TO DO IT CORRECTLY .. you're the best kind friend .. GD Tractor

Motor blew about 2 weeks after I got it and it’s been sitting in the garage since. I picked up a new engine for it though, hoping to have it all finished up this spring. Can’t wait to get it back on the road.

I've been watching your channel for a few days now but I just recently started learning to climb trees in fact I topped out my first tree today but your channel and videos have given me a lot of info and help I just want to say thank you
A number of years ago. I made an attempt at doing my own tree work in my yard . I spent 3 years climbing and tying knots, learning rigging, etc. etc. After being up in a tree one day and looking at my 5 year old looking up at me, I said to myself this is nuts hire a professional, It takes years to learn this trade.... I dropped down, packed up my gear and sold it on craigslist the next day. Lol. Anyway I don't know how I came upon this channel but.. Honestly at first I said "Man this guy is crazy, he has almost no safety equipment, or gear!" I'm glad I kept watching. You have an amazing outlook, passion and skill. Thank you for your positive attitude and family friendly channel. My boys watch tree guys and landscapers on RUclips regularly and talk about starting a business together. I was gonna get a job for the tree service , my wife and my dad worried about me getting hurt on the job and not being able to have medical and other benefits , like most jobs have . And I The Landscaping company that I was gonna apply for would never have any benefits . So I’m thinking of another idea . Work for the State Of Washington and maybe those jobs would have benefits . Anyway I’m just telling you that I love doing tree work . And there’s a lot of stuff to take into consideration when falling trees and it’s hard work . I love the hard work and coming home after each shift . And I learn a lot from watching your awesome videos my friend !!! Anyways be careful bro ! I split 27 cord by hand this year and sold 18 cord. Such a blessing to be able to work outside and I wouldn't take back a single drop of sweat. Good for the spirit. Thanks for asking how we are doing Buckin! Hope you are well! I'm enjoying the fruit of my labours with wood in fire place keeping us warm waiting for another 30 cams of snow to fall here in Ontario. I split 27 cord by hand this year and sold 18 cord. Such a blessing to be able to work outside and I wouldn't take back a single drop of sweat. Good for the spirit.
