He's underrated imo. Probably the best horror director in the past two decade's. But people dont really talk about him like Wes Craven, Sam Raimi, Guillermo del toro etc. It's like his movies are famous but he's not lol

Dude I just saw this on HBO Go and my horror-loving heart just screams for excitement because James Wan has done it again! This is one of his best work so far! I've been a fan since the first Saw movie he directed and I've always followed his work throughout his career!!!!!

To put a transition like that you need a big blue screen .. They had ilm , the biggest vfx vendor at their helm so I think they decided to utilize them to the max ... Even the blood throughout the jail fight scene was completely cg ....
To watch James walk around the set and give direction and just knowing he’s the Christopher Nolan of horror makes me want to be a film maker so bad. All of it looks so fun and interesting. Would absolutely love to work with James one day!

The light and camera work is brilliantly done here. The ending twist was mind-boggling, though I found some scenes absurd. Hope this gets a sequel.

Who the f wants to work with a person whom got a tons of baggage by showing negativity in the production of the film due to her marital problems? It's bad for business and professional careers.
James wan is leading Warner brother into legal entanglements. He's a little kid that turned Aquaman films into horror flicks. He's making the Aquaman films look like Godzilla movies.
I really despised the conjuring but this seems somewhat interesting so I might check it out. I just hope that Wan doesn't resort to the same old clichés he has relied on his entire career.

I loved Malignant so much. James Wan isn’t for everyone, but this is one of his best. That attic reveal and prison scene are what movies are made for

I rewatched Saw the other day, and it's clear to me Malignant is the movie James always wanted to make. While not great, I'm happy he got to do it.
