@secilperkins I completely understand because I had a very similar experience. Truthfully, the person I dealt with ruined the connection by implementing the silent treatment thing, I was confused at first because I never dealt with a spiteful person before. The on/off thing ensued for 2 years (I was in love & very forgiving 🤷♀️). It was a brutal but good lesson for me, propelled me into my profession all the more, and I am more sure of myself about real red flags - the ones that destroy your inner self where you start to hate yourself.
I reimbursed that choochoo train ticket, thanked them, and left. Also told them off about themselves because how can you not lose your own cool when dealing with a real covert narcissist?
