Hey - thank for taking time to comment. So glad you're enjoying the recording! Coincidentally, I'm going to catch Son Volt here in Fayetteville next week.
@@statehouseelectric right on. I used to live near Belleville back in the early 1990s and saw Uncle Tupelo, Wilco, and Son Volt several times. I live in Denver now, so I'll keep an eye out for you all once live shows can happen again.
@@statehouseelectric Let me know. I have friends out here in an Americana band called Crooked Cannon, and I bartend at a brewery called LandLocked that would love you have you guys! Im also a professor of sociology, but that's just my boring day jobjob...hahaha.

First time I've heard a cover of a Son Volt song , (one of my favourite Americana bands), but certainly worth the wait !!!! ...👍✌
I like these old boys! They understand country music.
Thanks Richard! We are trying...
One of my favorite songs of all time.
You did it justice ❤
Thank you, George! So glad you enjoyed it…
Huge respect. You took a classic from a master songwriter and made it your own. I reckon Jay himself would be pleased with this.
Hey - thanks very much for the comment! So glad you liked our version...

Lifelong SV fan. This is *really good.
I just saw Son Volt in Denver a few years ago. You all did it justice. Well done.
Hey David - thanks so much! I haven't seen them in quite a few years, but it was a great show...

Ground zero for alt. country! Nice. I’d love to make it out to Denver as a band sometime. Colorado is my favorite state to visit.
