Mimic was actually introduced in Dawn of fire, and now he is in the present day on MSM on fire oasis, also the new map is actually how the monster world looks like and where the islands are actually located on the mosnter world, and their is potential of new islands outside of the monster world that is the beyond (AKA space) and the only island that we can see on the beyond is magical nexus.
