Writing from the UK, I subscribe to a number of RUclips running related channels including you guys. Just wanted to feed back that yours is on the most informative and educational I have come across especially on subjects such as this that most other channels don't look at in any depth. Keep up the good work 👍
Thank you so much Phil! That means the world to us. We have so many wonderful followers from the UK that have been with us from the beginning. One day we’ll have to come abroad to say hello to everyone! Thanks again, we really appreciate it.
Oh man, I love so much my Wave Rider 25 that for now I stopped to use my Cumulus 23 , Pegasus 38 and the 1080v11 . I can run sooooo much better and even faster with my Wave Rider ,plus one more day per week (4 total) versus the other shoes. That because the stability and impact absorption ... I rarely get my legs fatigued with my runs with the Wave Rider 25. I can't belive I stayed so many years away from Mizuno ... now I only want to run with this Brand , lol !
I was using Saucony guide but while breaking in a new pair I developed planters fasciitis. After a few months of frustration I finally decided to buy a neutral shoe Hoka Bondi 7 and after a month of regular training my injury went away. Personally I think you need to do your homework and try on multiple sneakers until you find the right fit. Also width in the arch area is important. I ordered my hokas in size 9 wide after trying on a regular 9 and found them to tight in the arch
Adidas shoes are neutral and stable. The traditional torsion system shank guides the foot transition and for some runners like me, stability means consistency in terms of running form to prevent injuries. Solar boost 3 it's a pretty decent workhorse with lots of stability for instance.
Hello dear.. I am a 35 years old runners. I am naturally a supinator. Lately i have heel spurs and insertional achilis tendonitis.. My right foot keeps cave in. What running shoes should i use? Thanks
My stiff arches cause me to supinate at toeoff at higher speeds, leading to increased stress in the lateral part/side of my solea. However, at lower speeds, the overpronation-esque angle between my tibia and calcanea contribute to a current overexertion in my tibialis posterior. Seems like I got the worst of both worlds.
What about brooks adrenaline and glycerin GTS - can be worn by neutral runners or those who supinate/pronate? What Mizuno shoe do you recommend - stable for supinate/pronater that has more cushion than horizon?
Hello from U.K., love ur RUclips Channel was advised after doing a gait analysis (which I did after getting knee pain on both the legs) that I need a stable neutral shoe and was given UA Machina 2. Am a newbie runner here, , could u advise if this shoe is ok or suggest any other shoes?
Hi from Spain, are Adidas shoes with the torsion system shank pr LED these days stable shoes or at least neutral shoes with some sort of stability tech?
Torsion system is a really nice stabilizer actually. Visit our Ultraboost 21 for more info: www.doctorsofrunning.com/2021/03/adidas-ultraboost-21-multiple-tester.html?m=1
Can I just add a gripe of mine... People who tie their laces too loosely, and have a 'slipper' on their feet are never going to be stable, a lace lock, secure lacing ' lockdown is quite relevant too I believe...just saying 😀
