Brilliant idea. I just got one of these and have been researching on how to make my za. This makes total sense, looks to be a more even better cook this way and not over heated in the rear like I see on many videos. Will be going to the hardware store and getting a brick. One question though. When you have this in there does it take up any of the cooking area?

I pre heat in high and then keep it in medium during cook

What kind of pizza dough do you use
What size was your pizza oven ?
I have a 16 inch will i need a bigger brick?
Is the temp still on high in the back?
Still need to be careful at the Temp may burn your pizza if left too long
I think you just need to titrate the pizza every 30 seconds or so .
