Flamecall Awakening is a great option because it gives you the ability to 2 card into 3 mana with an attack. so lets say you have swell tidings, flamecall, Rabble, and whatever. You get to hit for 4 then 3 then 5 arcane. or if you have a prognosticate instead of swell you could roll into waning moon for same effect.
Looks like a fun, solid build. With Dash, other Mechanologists, and some people running the Crown for Gold and Cash In, throw in some annoying Meeps. They have natural Go-Again and on-hit threats.
My armories are super casual and always have max arcane barrier in their "side board" lol. For that reason I use more attacks, but this version seems way better into a real META
Yeah when arcane is over respected, it can certainly be tough to punch through enough damage and it can lead to fatigue. More attacks is the right call because they bring a bunch of AB and have less block utility from equipment. Nice call!
I’d say Skullcap being able to cover up breakpoints more than once per game is far more favorable than the card swap. But also, either would work totally fine! Glad you enjoyed it!

I have been testing it with Crown of Providence and Healing Balm in place of the Life for a Life (only had one life for a life) The healing balms have really helped keep me in the fight for much grindier matches. I could never find a build I like for emperor, but this one ticks all the boxes. Thanks for sharing this with us all.

I can totally see Meeps being a solid tech piece. Totally worth a shot!

Also have a local player on Lexi and they can present a lot of damage in one turn, any hints
Without Tome you could run something like Overload to pair with nimblism for 6 dominate or belittle for the GA enabler if you want a wide turn.
For Lexi, you might fair better with more arcane attacks. They chip damage faster and block more efficiently!

Why not Crown of Providence instead of Arcanite Skullcap? Love the deck though.
