The Anointed Pace Sisters definitely. I've seen them break out in song just on a fly and all of them fall in and nobody is off. Other groups are always rehearsed. Theirs come natural
I feel with the Pace Sisters, there are so many of them so they automatically know what part they are suppose to sing compared to The Clark Sisters, where they have to switch parts sometimes. Whether they have to rehearse or not, they still sound great.
You're right, they remind me of my mom's choir, because everybody already know their part and can automatically start singing, rehearsed or not. I feel like every group can do that as well at some point.
The Clarks really changed the game with their harmonies. I wish they would sing their own harmonies live, they started using extra background singers in recent years. As for the old school groups, the original Ward singers with Marion Williams and Kitty Parham were top notch, it wasn't the same after they left to form the stars of faith. But my favorite old school female group would have to be the gospel harmonettes with Dorothy love Coates. I wish you had included them and some old school male quartets because quartets have the best blend and they sing the instrumental parts.
Denise with her high nasal distinctive voice, dorinda with her raspy jazzy voice, Twinkie with her range growls vocal style and resonance Jackie with her angelic smooth voice, and Karen with her high timbre power and agility
@@ejtv4880 saved it to one of my playlists and will be watching it when I get home from work tonight. Already viewed 1mins and Shirley didn’t come to play.
The Caravans only reason is because these ladies came.from all over and made one of the most popular groups in gospel main stage. Unlike most of the others they all grew in the same time so had all of theirs lives for the blends and harmonies to perfect, who was sing what part and where they sound best and most comfortable with. So yeah Caravans it is just by that but if it was just off sound Barrett Sisters would be my pick
Commissioned most definitely and the Clark’s. They have more of difficult harmonies. Commissioned especially. I believe they were the only male group to be singing in 4th and 5th harmony at a time. Same with the Clark’s singing 4 part and switching to 3 and vice verse. No disrespect to the others but I love all these groups but those 2 have more of a versatile style harmony wise
Most of you aren’t judging actual harmony. Only the group you like the most. Lol. Which isn’t the point of the video. If you’re being TECHNICAL, #Commissioned had the best harmony. They were singing in like 5 parts! Lol. You people are weird...
The title of this video should be: A Celebration of Gospel Group Harmonies...the Body of Christ is too divided as it is and you missed the group Take 6...this is a nice video.
It's the clark sister for me. That blend is unmatchedable, unmatchedable
Agreed. Clark sisters really become 1 voice. Most of these others, although incredibly talent, you can always tell who’s singing what part.
@@tommyl9961 right
And when Denise is there out can't split the sound apart
Ain’t not a single one of these groups to be played with! But…that Clark blend is something else!
I actually enjoyed all of the groups and appreciate all of the harmonies.
Its THE CLARK SISTERS for me😊 Pure blend❤
The Clark Sisters are so legendary ‼️
The barrette sisters harmony can shake a church down. They are my favorite. The power in those voices move me to tears
Yessssss those girls were bad!!!
ALRIGHT NOWW AS LONG AS THE PACE SISTERS GOT HIGHLIGHTED IM GOOD
I could NEVA forget them 😂
They some sanging gurls 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Anointed Pace Sisters…..WHEEEEEW🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Anointed Pace Sisters have ALWAYS had that oil over them & their harmonies are unmatched. That is why they are THEE ANOINTED Pace Sisters 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Barrett Sisters, Commissioned, Anointed Pace Sisters, and The Clark Sisters stand out the most to me. This video is everything!
THE CLARK SISTERS!!!!
The Clarks and the Paces. That's all, that's it.
All the groups are gifted BUT Clark Sisters are best to me
Definitely the Clark Sisters!
Jacky, Denise, Twinkie, Dorinda, & Karen. 🔥
Although they’re young, you can NOT exclude the Walls Group. Lord have mercy!
Ya’ll know it’s Twinkie Clark and The Clark Sisters! It’s no one like them!
Black singers/musicians literally are MUSIC!!
Dorinda with her raspy vocals; Jackie with the smooth voice; twinkie with the growls and pianos skills; karen with the vocal agility
The Anointed Pace Sisters definitely. I've seen them break out in song just on a fly and all of them fall in and nobody is off. Other groups are always rehearsed. Theirs come natural

The Clark Sisters Mattie trained them well, then gave them to Twinkie and she put the cream on top. None better
The Clark Sisters, Witness, and Commissioned are my favorites but ALL of the groups in this compilation are amazing and deserve MUCH respect!!!
It’s The Pace Sisters for me 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯 and The Clark Sisters 🔥🔥 The Barrett Sisters. You cannot get any better harmony than that of sisters!!! 🤷🏿♂️
Great compilation. The Shirley Caesar part was great!
I didn’t even watch the video yet but I will let you know that the Clark Sisters won this competition along time ago.
😂😂, I hope do watch it though and I hope you enjoy 😂❤️

The walls group deserves to be here

Clark sisters just have a gift
The Clark Sisters and the Pace Sisters for me
The Barrett sis hands down
These groups must have been before the Clark sisters, around the 1940' 50, 60's.
Listen‼️ That Clark sound is one of a kind and unmatched. Love the rest but it’s the Clark’s for ME. 🤷🏾♂️
It shouldn't be a battle just people God anointed to minister in song.
I'm sorry but it's WITNESS for me.lisa,lou,dianne,leah.seen them live and the harmonies and blend is phenomenal.
Witness sounds like a female version of Commissioned; they also sound a lot like the clark sisters
Mrs Inez was a beast!!!
She sings Mary don't you weep better than Aretha to me.
@@urmom6428 I love her raspy sound
@@ketar.8015 I do too!
Yes gospel group
Pace sisters for me! Then the clark sisters, barrett sisters, caravans, and witness
Rest in peace duranice
Mary Mary is the only group doesn't sound like anyone else; a true force of nature
All

Quiet as it kept Zie’l ain’t nothing to play with..
Exactly ‼️‼️‼️
The Winans are legendary too
The Caravans and Barrett sisters for me

thank you !!!😂
The Legendary Clark Sisters win!
Take 6 & The Walls Group?
The title of this video should be: A Celebration of Gospel Group Harmonies...the Body of Christ is too divided as it is and you missed the group Take 6...this is a nice video.
Left out the Nevel Sisters
Someone Please tell me the difference between commissioned and the Winans
To me, Commissioned's harmonies has more melodies and technique compared to The Winans.
where are the canton spirituals?
Was that Mattie at 9:47
I don't think it is, but it does look like her though.
Can anyone tell me the song at 4:15 ?
