    Man it fires me right up when a GC leader leads his team out in the last few K. Love seeing guys go all out for teammates when they don't have to. Best part of the sport.

    The Dauphiné is actually training for Vingegaard's TDF leadouts for WVA and not GC

      I think thats an understatement. Just wait a year or two and Jonas is going to be the next pocket rocket and winning the green jersey on TDF himself. He has the weight, power and endurence. This is just the start.

    Dude, Herregots must be thinking all night where he could have shaved off 1 or 2 seconds to bag in the win... That was the closest catch of a break away rider I have ever seen.

    I like the way Jonas just made space with an elbow for the gap to open for la port, he might be small and not that flavorful in interviews but the way he rides shows determination, and that he is a leader.

    That one really bummed me out. If Herregots would stop freaking looking around he would have nailed. I hope to see a lot more from him. He’s got guts! Good show guys

      Agree. That last climb produced some gaps and then the wet final descent meant that they could not take risks to catch the main peloton

      Apparently the Combativity prize is typically decided by a jury and awarded for the race up until 20km from the finish line. Seems stupid but it explains why Herregodts did not win it

    lol.... Before Geraint Thomas I recall leadout by Bradley Wiggin in 2012, TDF stage 21 for that matter. But I can't recall what I had for dinner last night.

    Little fun fact: "Herregodts" is almost the same as "herre godt" in Danish (where Vingegaard is from) which translates to "very good" or "awesome"... 🙂

    I find it very weird that Herregodts doesn’t get the the red number for the most attacking rider. On the other hand he’s not French, so impossible to get.
