The reason he holds it backwards in the ps3 (or other) version(s) is so you could see his lightsaber better throughout the game.
There's 2 versions of the game. The PC/360/PS3 version and the PS2/Wii version. The PS2/Wii version actually offers additional story content overall but I would recommend you check out both versions as they really feel like 2 separate games.

He wouldn't have any other characters there with him that helped him grow (Juno, PROXY, Kota, Shaak Ti (since her Canon story is super retarded she's not around when Statkiller is) and every other Rebel he came across) not to memtion all the little lore changes they'd have to somehow fit in if they were to add him into New Canon.

they should make mods part of games like you could upload mods to the game and you could download them to use them. that way people on consol could get the mods and you wouldn't have to go to some website to download it.
incinerator troopers were from the force unleashed and were made canon in the mandalorian episode 8. there should be a mod replacing flame troopers with these

The force unleashed have a ps2 version and in that Star Killer uses the lightsaber in the correct whay and the "remasted" wersion of the game he uses backwards why I sad "remasted" becouse the ps2 version is a bit different than the New one

The Starkiller Overhaul is pretty bad, frankly. so many blatant problems that could've been easily addressed. Hugin Munin's Starkiller is just objectively better despite having less content.

Technically starkiller holding his saber normally is how he was in the Wii and ps2 versions of the force unleashed.

Technically star killer can hold the lightsaber the normal way and can be considered normal because of the ps2 version of the game

The game is kinda difficult depending on how experienced you are but its still a fun game. Second is not the best and too short but i enjoyed it.
