Very Watford and people never really understand us. Never have, never will. They didn’t mention that when the pozzos took over English football rules were massively different and we can’t run to the same model we did back then so have had to change.
I’m a Coventry fan, But I was shocked when I saw Watford so low down on every championship RUclipsr creator videos, Be a shame to see another big club drop
This sounds like what happened to Coventry in the late 90s when Bryan Richardson ran the club into the ground and sold 'shares' to the fans which ultimately resulted in a certain hedge fund taking over the club for £1, that new owner was...SISU and we know how that went. Good luck Watford, you may need it.
@@SophiaSmith24 And the money Richardson and his cronies got from the share sale to fans is still unaccounted for, a final middle finger from him as he walked away from the rubble of Highfield Road with pockets bulging...(allegedly), then along came SISU!! Talk about out of the frying pan.
Im scared for this season but we could be top 6 to bottom of league thats just watford. Our manager has faith but we have a history with managers so.... i hope its a decent season and gino sells up
Haven't put Watford to go down, but I agree with everything stated, and do seem relegation candidates in waiting. I do also wonder how much of their finances is going to paying off managerial contracts in recent years? With Rob Edwards having taken their biggest rivals to a Premier League Season, I wonder if he's still on the pay check at Vicarage Road as well.
Kieran Maguire? The Price of Football? Says more about you lot than about him if you don't know of him at this point tbh. Go have a listen to him. Brighton fan so no reason to be wishing Watford into the ground obvs (and his co-host is a Palace fan).
Tbf when we were a mid table championship team we relied on our youth set up and had less than no money. Sooo not as bad as it’s being made out. Bad yes but not as bad. We’re a small club. We’ve been punching for years but we always produce decent young players which lots of trouble clubs don’t have. Cleverly is inexperienced but not in the championship and football in general and could be a great manager soon. So why not.
The pozzos are going all in on lucca becoming the next luca toni. That's why they brought alexis sanchez on a free transfer. If udinese gets relegated watford are doomed.
Can’t argue with your assessment Ryan, you could also have added that we share our Sporting Director with our sister club, Udinese. Guess where his focus is? The only 2 things in (partial) mitigation are a) I think Cleverly, while a rookie, is an outstanding young manager and b) through all the player sales our outgoings have been vastly reduced, so maybe our financial state is not quite as bad as portrayed. I think we’ll struggle but I’m predicting 17th - 21st 🙏🏼
To be fair when watford were in the premier league udinese went from alexis sanchez di Natale inler benatia to fighting relegation. The pozzos should have sold watford the season after they stayed up in the premier league.
There are teams in a worse situation so im not going down the relegation route..however the pozzos run their clubs purely as a business, not for the love of the club...obviously many watford supporters were seduced by the promotion to the premier league and the vic finally being brought up to standard..but during that time we've sold some cracking players at massive profit..i would love someone to come in who actually cares about our fantastic supporters and family values..unfortunately with the monetary gap being so huge between the championship and the premier league it would take a brave person who wouldn't be after personal gain..
I think Watford will go down this season. They had a bad run of form headed towards the end of last year, and besides a French MF and LB, they haven’t rlly added much for what they’ve lost. We are bound to see a disastrous season in the Championship where an established mid table team goes down, and I think Watford is that team. Oxford made some decent signings, and I believe in Eustace at Blackburn to keep them up more than what is gonna be a 3-4 manager team. That being said, it isn’t a Reading situation but more like Ipswich in 2018-19. A failed owner at its end, declining investment, and a historical club reaching rock bottom. They’ll be down in L1 for a few years, but they’ll be back.
Well, this video didn’t age well.
Aaaah, 3-2 at the Den! The fact that everyone says Watford are in deep trouble leads me to believe that we will be fine.
This ages worse every week
4 games this season 4 wins let's all worry ,uu ooorns
this aged well lol

Good because Watford should stick to being in the Championship. They weren’t as good in the Premier League.
Hope you are right
Watford podcast here. We are bang in trouble.
You better hope udinese don't get relegated and lucca having a really good season and netting 15+ goals to sell on for 40m.
Youre chatting sh1t. We will be fine this season.
We will be there in party hats

I would like to see Watford go down to League One. Have they been in League One before.
As a Watford supporter since 1960 I have never trusted these owners and I have taken a lot of criticism yes we need new owners and quickly
As a luton fan, I agree, an absolute shit show of a club. Only going one way, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN.

Only 5 points behind Watford after 2 games. I expect you are delighted you are that close.
