Why would they? It's a single player offline game. If its not a game breaking glitch that prevents you from progressing in the game, then they shouldn't worry about patching it.
Have you played the old half life games? There are so many glitches in that game, the speedrun guys use like 50 or more glitches to speedrun half life. Lol. The entire speedrun is nothing but taking advantage of glitches. Lol

Austin: Gosh darn it.
The way I do it is I have my back against the wall and I press down button as much as I can and then I use stasis to clip through. (On switch)

You can do it on the switch my guy it's easy, pushing against the box instead of just standing still when it's about to launch just makes it so much easier

When I was at the last stage in final trials where you get the master sword.

Whenever I clipped I usually was either pushing again the wall to clip into or pushing against the metal box, try it yourself and lmk if it works :D

Yeah, granted i kept screwing it up like about 5 times each trial, but yeah it still works. i was a bit skeptical at the beginning if it still worked or not but hey done all three in one day ( i also kept getting lost from time to time XD). I also accidentally broke the metal crate one time so i just remote bombed the F**K out of him every time, was super annoying and slow. XD

Austin, I tried this glitch myself on my switch and honestly, it was tricky, but I soon got it. My tip is that what you do has to be very precise. I recommend watching the guy you found and pausing where he places the metal box, then when you clip out mash the X button, and the cryonis is very precise so pause on where he places it and while on top of the ice block, twitch your joystick left, up, and right and over again. And I just want to say, thank you, cause your videos have gotten me through a lot in botw.

How shiet, not working for me
I did this glitch on December 1 of 2020 and I did for all three trials. Works amazing!
I'm playing on the Switch and all, and I actually managed to clip through on the middle trial! Unfortunately, I forgot to pull out the glider as I fell, but still! Going for it again! From what I could see in your video, you need to push the box a tad bit closer to the wall? It's hard to tell, but I did it second try.

I just clipped out in the switch version but didn’t have enough hearts so I died from the box
It’s all about how fast link is going when he hits the wall. You have to hit link’s in game max speed and then you can pass through textures.

I'm thankful for this video introducing me to trial of the sword skip, it's a style of gameplay I don't enjoy at all, and the reward is in my opinion what should've been the master sword all along. I'd find it better if the master sword upgrades were baked into the main game and the trials reward was something completely different
I just tried it on the Switch. It's not exclusive to the Wii U version. It works. you just need to position where there isnt big a space between the object you're using and the wall, yet there needs to be just enough wiggle room for you the get between before the stasis times out.

Before watching, I made a discovery an hour ago, make sure that when you escape the confinds of the rooms, head down on the map (Link's arrow marker on the map is facing down) and go straight, you'll see a huge pit at the bottom of the Earth Cube, and it's solid, all of it. Head close to what looks like a tar pit, you'll see some Z-Fighting (flickering) on the ground, and once you get close enough you'll be in the Monk's room (the one with the Master Sword(s)).

@@blazewhale-aria Yeah, they have death barrier in the inside that stretches to the outside, I don't know if it's even possible to clip inside to skip the whole trials like that.

I can confirm that as of December 2020, this exact method still works on Switch. I successfully got to the hinox from middle start 5 times... 5 times only because I suck at the box technique, I always break it. Practice makes perfect I guess.

I suck at the master trial. Like enough so that it made more sense to spend the last couple of days trying to do this glitch. I finally made it through. I then ran around for a really long time finding all the wrong areas before finally finding the Hinox. Then I spent a while just figuring out where I need that ice block. And I finally did it. I almost killed the Hinox.....but I broke the box. Then it grabbed a tree and one shot me.

Make sure you grab a bow and a few arrows just incase that happens and the first time you ping his eye you can get a better bow and a sword

Shield clipping is the way to go and extremely easy to do

I agree it’s the only way I’ve gotten through walls myself. Getting a skew is too easy to not try shooed clipping.
It does work for the switch I used it today and a little tidbit about clipping with a metal box when u get into place stand still or it won't work

If you use one of the boxes in the checkpoints against the wall in the water, it will be way easier. And remember to push the box the opposite direction of where it's headed. For the final trials you can just do it on floor 4
Depends on the angle of your skew. The lightining outside gave me anxiety but it was harmless
You can also use metal boxes on each fourth level and it is much easier

All of these work!! I couldnt get past the second one untill I did this... well not the clipping out way but finding a skew and shield flipping out of bounds

I used one by LinkusSpeedrun for after I got through the walls so I wouldnt get lost because after you get through you see weird things and the video "Trial of the sword skip in breath of the wild" (updated tutorial) had the best explanation of how to get to the hinox room and proceed to getting the master sword. But I used Swiffy 22 video "shield clipping tutorial feat. New trial of the sword skip" to learn about skew wich is what you need to glitch threw the wall. I practiced in the shrine he mentions in his video to learn the skew and glitch threw walls trick before I tried it in the trial of the sword... you can even get a good skew out of the trial and then start it up so you can go straight though the wall..you can teleport at anytime so if you get suck outside the map you can just teleport.. and get a new skew for every trial even tho you still have one after finish up the trial. And I dont know if rag doll state affects it cause I didnt have a problem.. just dont break the box or the hinox will ruin you run and it sucks finally doing everything right to be kill because he broke tha box... It only took me 10 min after i got the skew down to get through my firs wall and i accidentally lost my skew in the first trial and I was able to get a skew on a tree but it was scary cause the shield almost broke and you need it to clip though the hinox wall.. well hope my rant helped and austin john... it works bro.. just have to do the shield clip method..I used it for the final upgrade cause it was just to hard to do it normally. And in master mode I just cheered the whole thing and had an upgraded master sword 30 min after obtaining it. I recomend doing it the right way to get the full experience of the dlc....but I paid for the upgraded master sword and they hid it behind a really hard wall to climb. So I'm glad I can cheese it cause other wise I dknt think I'd even have it powerd up al lm the way lol. It's almost Like when link only has one stamina bar and your climbing a tower to make the last jump and just bearly miss the top and fall..lol sorry for the bad example lol and on that note I'm out. Sorry for the rant but I was really happy when I was able to get the sword!! Soo happy!

And it was really hard to get the timing to un equip the shield but after a while you'll be getting skew on trees or broken walls or anything diagonal lol. Just remeber that the direction you get the skew on is the direction of the wall you have to be facing.

I have found that if you use sheikah scope to look at the wall while being launched, it tends to work a lot better.

When you're done putting cnetic energy, you need to pull out your zoom then you can go between the wall and the metal box

Hey Austin John Plays, just wanted to thank you and the rest of the community for the tips and tricks that I've been able to learn thanks to you all. I just wanted to say that I found out that I could set my skew inside the trial of the sword itself, it was trial 3, room 1, and I messed up my skew and reset it on the slanted rock in the room.

When I was at my final room for the Final Trials, I thought I was done for-- but I somehow did it...in my first try too!
I looked up what was the last room beforehand and it told me that using Ancient Arrows on the lynel and the turret was the strategy, I survived the last few rooms, however as I shot the lynel- and I missed so I shot it again, it got hit. The turret was my only obstacle where I'm out of Ancient Arrows...and I did it.

I did it using a wooden crate in the recovery room after the first boss on the last trial. Much easier without the lightning destroying your crates..
Do you remember which side and if it was in one of the recessed walls??

This works on the switch (at least on Middle Trial). Position the metal cube as demonstrated in the video and get in front of it. However, ‘push’ the metal cube in the opposite direction prior to being knocked through the wall. It worked consistently twice with me because I successfully ‘completed’ the middle trial on my second attempt. I am still working on the final trial, but the method from the middle trial should be applicable to the final trial. Wish you the best of luck
I was able to get it to work on the switch. You have to put your back to the wall, magneisis the cube as close as you can to you, jump back over, then stasis, hit, jump back, then pow... your out. Tough part is getting the cryonis just right to where you can run back in.

Austin this is known to be a wii u only glitch unfortunately, so you came to the correct conclusion. however this might be possible with the shield surf wall glitch, that was discovered. it just requires you to find a shield in the trial
