After many failed attempts, Goldyx was the first mage I beat Solo Conquest with at 5-8, so it's kind of fun to think how I'm now taking on the same scenario at double the difficulty. :) Thanks to a great chat for making this one so fun! Happy Gaming! Greg
Goldyx is a very crazy mage knight and a lot mana will make it good with both spells and advance action card. The most tricky thing is how to crystal joy correctly. Goldyx is much easier in Coop due to the teammate could intentionally slowdown and allow Goldyx get more crystal through crystal joy. The water sign mage knight really like water sign. Planning and then wipe everything with super advantage and strength built. Good to see Goldyx here. Thanks for sharing! Have been playing fan made MK betrayal campaign. And after today's successful third campaign mine liberation.... fan modified easier version and will play solo conquest and other solo scenario again to refresh for a while and finish MK betrayal campaign later. Thanks for sharing!
Great thoughts, Peter! And cool that you are enjoying the Betrayal Campaign - I looked into it but just never got around to playing through it. Good luck!
@@SoloPlaythroughs Thanks! The highlight of Betrayal Campaign is the connection between different scenarios and 7 campaigns together is a full story. And the second good idea is to purchase cards by paying fame gained. And planning the fame farming and card purchased is interesting as well. And other scenarios frequently played is well tested. Then will play well tested scenarios together, too.
@@SoloPlaythroughs Playing the campaign is a fantastic idea! Campaign allow players to include cards, unit, crystals by paying fame. And the reputation heritage is cool as well. Sharing a general idea on how to choose cards in campaign for the next scenario (s) will make this scenario shining in this channel.
Really nice game, with so much attack in the end. And I find that skill universal power is also so good, and getting it early was even better. Gives you huge flexibility with all your cards
Hi Greg ! Thank you for that really cool game of mage Knight. Just a thing, during your first asseult on the Red city you assigned the minautor damage at 2 different units and as i remember the rules your are not allowed to... You can assigned one source of damage to only one unit and the remaining damage must be assigned to you. Anyway thank you again for all the content of your channel ! (Sorry for my english translation, a french viewer)
Thanks for the comment, Ritalwalker. However, there is no rule against assigning damage from one source to multiple units provided you assign damage up to the maximum each unit can absorb before going to the next one. (For instance, I couldn’t assign damage to two units with resistance such that neither is wounded.) Additionally, once you assign any damage to your hero, you must assign the rest to your hero. Hope that makes sense!
@@SoloPlaythroughs Oooh ! i read my rule book again to make sure and yes, you are right ! Sorry for that comment ! Thank you for the answer, i played it wrong (to make games harder for me :(...) Thank you again for all the content of your channel, really love it ! wish you the best.
@@ritalwalkerf8658 No worries! I actually love the Mage Knight rulebook, but I think the section about assigning damage to units could have been a little clearer for sure. 🙂 Glad to help!
Thanks, mike! Yeah - my Mage Knight videos are very much not great for people new to the game. If you are interested in learning more, I'd strongly recommend finding the Mage Knight series done by Ricky Royal (Box of Delights) or Liz Davidson (Beyond Solitaire) - and there are others. See you next time!
It occurs to me that when monsters come out you could put them at the beginning also in the front camera (if you haven't already done so, since it's the first video I've seen since a long time because I haven't had time) a hug
Thanks for the comments and the feedback, cristian! Putting the enemies onto the card holder is definitely a great idea. The whole third camera in general has definitely been a bit of an experiment, but I've gotten more positive feedback on it than not. I'll likely continue to try new things in the months to come. :)
@@SoloPlaythroughs i little doubt, if the card has 2 types, for example "ice bolt", then you can consider if you use the card for mana, has played like non interactive play? and then it is not considered a "battle" card? my question is you choose what type of card is depending on the situation?

This is the 1st time that I comment on your RUclips video. I just watch the beginning "No sun" part, hope it doesn't foreshadow things in future :))

Nice! I've thought about putting the campaign on the channel in the past - maybe it's time to revisit that idea!

The dice rolling in the beginning felt like the Mage Knight lords were taking their anger out on you, for not playing for so long
This is a pretty solid theory! :)
but if this is true, then *all* gods hate him, not only MK-gods...
