There was a lot of complaint from players stating having to start from Stage 5 if the team wipes at Stage 6. The director addressed this issue on his latest (a few days ago) streaming, and told players that he will work on putting additional checkpoints after clearing stage 5.
after watching Koreans do this live today, there are still other mechanics. It's easier on normal, but on harder difficulty, it's very common that when one player wipes they reset, and despite a lot of them streaming, they wiped 7 times and i watched 2 hours only for gate 5. I stopped watching afterwards.
Somehow isometric makes me feel less attached to my character. But I'm a casual (only do extremes in FFXIV), so maybe it's not something a hardcore raider would care about. Anyway, Lost Ark looks insane. If you even blink incorrectly you wipe the raid

Also I don't like the feel of isometrics, like in WoW/14/B&S/BDO you feel like you're moving the camera around and using movement abilities and it feels crazy, when you move around in an isometric like this it just feels meh even if the abilities look crazy cool it doesn't feel the same.
aye, isometric brings a lot of potential for giving that cinematic feel and crazy visuals could just be a personal thing, but isometric feels a bit more disconnected than the usual 3rd person - I've played tons of Diablo, LoL, PoE, etc. and can get very calibrated to characters but still don't feel the same immersion of 'being' that character as in non-iso 3rd person games
There’s always some games for you out there if this gets too draining for you. Minecraft, terraria, cod zombies, some animal crossing with friends. It ain’t a race. Take it slow. Eventually you’ll get it

To be fair people will get better as the raids get gradually harder. Also even in korea only a small fraction of the playerbase has beaten brelshaza hard 5 6
The guy on the video has no clue on how to explain, he just fast reading a script with no pause , no structure, making the whole thing much more harder to understand
The battle is too long, the mechanics are very unintuitive, and I really hope that there is a setting to tone down those flashy effects from boss. Even with the check-point, it will still be a pain to run through. Nah bruh, I will stay out of this shit. I'd rather doing solo stuff

Whenever I learned about lost ark, I first heard about it’s crazy difficult raids in mechanics. I think that’s kinda their thing.
