- hellooo writers! i am so happy to bring you this video today where i share with you my original characters (oc's) from my new novel i am writing currently! this is a bit different from a writing vlog or a book video but i had so much fun talking about my story, my characters and even a little bit about my process of worldbuilding and character development!

Hi Ana. My name is Maddie and I am 11 years old. I am a huge fan of your channel. Me and my friend discovered you when u did rainbow loom but I really love your writing videos. With your video (why you should start a novel in 2022) I actually got inspired.
I love books and my favourites are Counting by 7s by Holly Goldberg Sloan and The Night Diary from Veera Hiranandani. These ones are emotional and I just get so attached to the characters. Other really good books are Fish in a Tree, Shouting at the Rain and One for the Murphys by Lynda Mullaly Hunt. Might as well just say all of the Lynda Mullaly Hunt books then. lol.
I am writing a novel called The Tween Life and it is about the Diary of a 6th grade girl named Katie and her just writing down her life story. I have started writing it and now that words are on the document, it is coming together. I started another book a little while ago but I abandoned the idea a short time after. lol.
Honestly seeing a young writer like me being so successful with 20k subs has made me feel that someday I could be successful as well. What started my love for writing was eventually being able to see all of your time and effort on a piece of paper one day would be so rewarding.
So now that I have told the internet my life story, I just want to say, please keep posting your amazing content and everyone have an amazing day!

Thank you so much for you kind words and I definitely have your latest video bookmarked. I need to learn how to organize my projects.
The funny thing is that I was surfing through my computer and I found a novel that I wrote as a 9 year old and I was dedicated. I had written 12 chapters and it was 30 pages. It was a lot because as a child (and a little bit now even) I can't seem to stay motivated to start and finish a novel.

I'm writing a serial novel and the first book is currently on exactly 18988 words. It's the longest thing I've ever even half acomplished and while being on writer's block, I love seeing other people be so passionate about their beautiful creations. I love my ocs so much that I see them in my dreams. I love hearing about other people's ocs--not for insparation, but just for the joy of it. I honestly wish I had an author friend that I could exchange storylines with 😭

@@ananeu aww thank you Ana!! artbreeder, does that cost? i have a tablet with a few coloring apps and i've always wanted something like procreate from apple so i could draw really awesome things, and i've heard procreate can be really cool but i don't use apple. i've always been looking for that one great drawing app that can help me practice my drawing and learn more, but i can't ever find anything that good. i'm not real good when it comes to drawing characters but i've been trying my best at it! i need that drawing app/website that can help me at that. your strive and positivity means so much to me, it inspires me! thank you Ana!! xo

hihi! im a 12 yr old aspiring author writing a book series called Anihumans with my bff. Anihumans are a secret race of unassuming people, but at any age they find this magical bracelet with a gem on it (the gem can be any type) which helps them transform into any animal in the world. theyd be able to transform anyway the bracelet just helps them.
we have a bunch of main characters and theyre just a bunch of teenagers. the main story starts in book 4, when the normal humans find out abt anihumans and lock all of them up in a lab to do science experiments on them.

all of your projects sound so interesting! i love how delle is able to split and mend, it reminds me of how will and lyra use the knife to visit different worlds in the his dark materials books (literally my favorite series ever). i'd be so interested in reading the lost city of ziel if you ever decide to publish it.

one of my OCs is a convicted murderer, and thief who got locked up under a well and is slowly eaten by rats as he’s haunted by the ghosts of his victims… so…
I admire people, who can easily name characters. I have like an image of my characters in my head, but most of the names in my document are XX, bc I have no idea what to name them.

What Website Should I write on?
You know I would be a lot more into more of your characters if there was a bit more diversity in them, it kinda just seems like the same boy and girl with a different hairstyle and color of hair, like where is the FLAVOR lol, I know it can be a bit intimidating to take on characters of color or different races in general, just a suggestion, nobody is forcing you to, but I think it is something to look into especially if you want to be traditionally published someday.
i do kinda agree but you also have to take into consideration that the website she uses to create her characters doesn’t necessarily let you change the hair or facial structure too much you can make minor changes but not huge ones so it’s just a little difficult to create diverse examples on art breeder
she does have more diverse characters these arent even a quarter of them?

I was inspired by all the books I’ve read mushed together!! Haha! books such as his dark materials series, daughter of smoke and bone series, and even shadow and bone. initially though, the whole of the novel came to me when I was riding home on my bike at night, and that’s when it all followed into this!❤️
@@ananeu wow! just riding on your bike and it all came together... that's amazing! you have a talent. being able to make a novel out of all the books you read mushed together, that's fantastic! i once wrote my own little book in a notebook of mine when i was younger. it was a spinoff of a movie i once saw, but i fell behind on writing it haha. i got to writing one hundred pages it think! i also wrote a small little book in a diary, i finished that! i had my own little fantasy book ideas in my head back then. so proud of you! you got this xo

dark, abyss black hair that is hip length, long messy fringe that sometimes covers one eye. forelocks. long, slim foxy grey eyes. pale, paper white skin with a beauty mark under her left eye. tall and slender.
she wears a black, slim fitting dress with a split on the side, similar to her mothers. the top is heart-shaped but she has a thin material attached to a choker. there are jewels on the top idk. at the waist, it looks like there are black feathers. she does not wear anything fancy unlike her mother, but she wears silver clips in her hair.
Background
When the two nations were at peace, Amelia and Yingmei used to be best friends and played the violin and piano together, promising they will play at the prestigious Yumenouta competition in Natsumatsuri all the way up to Kitashima.
Ever since the war, Yingmei distanced herself away from anything assistances with Amelia, as it brought her pain to think about never saying goodbye.
Hengye didnt raise her as Anyue Empire’s next empress because she was set on the idea of being empress forever, so instead she raised her to be of benefit to her pursuit of eternity.

acts like a black cat. Serious, cold, blunt, either formal or rude, stoic, logical, cynical, quite rebellious, composed.
When you get to know her, she helps you and cares for you despite not wanting to admit it. she is also possessive of Amelia and gets jealous easily.
