Hi, Andy! The Sweetwater affiliate link to the Fenders actually goes to the iRig. Be careful. I'm sure we've all had nightmares about sharing the wrong link by mistake 😅 I hadn't checked the channel for a while and it's looking great!
I've had a PRS SE Custom 24 since 2015 and not bought another guitar since. Grey quilt maple top, set neck, mahogany neck/body. Unbelievably good guitar and covers everything I play. Still only came in a gig bag tho.
I always preferred the more humble PRS guitars over the super fancy-pants models. Swamp ash special always looked great, and this SE is no exception. BTW, big fan of this series 👍
Another Spiffing TWIG! 😀👍 I agree Re PRS I've never gelled with one yet - too. The Highway series Acoustics - Given that they're providing an electric type experience with the neck, I'm surprised there's no cutaway to the higher frets. I'm guessing that would put them too close to the stratasonics etc Or... they probabaly can't afford to lose any more wood/air in this form factor. 🤷♂ The End - thank you for your time 😘
Andy, I "love" PRS guitars.... There is a problem 😞 I hate the pickups! There is nothing "special" about them, to me they are just about ok, but they never quite hit my sweetspot! I can hear a PRS pickup from 200 paces and know its a PRS. Am I missing something?
I've never seen or touched A PRS in real life😂. None of the music stores here in New Hampshire Carry them, very rarely do you see one used. I think they look ugly as sin too, lol
I had one of those small single pickup Gibsons in natural wood , bought for $35 kept 2 yrs sold for $35 , had no idea what the price would be now ,do I wish I still had it ,guess
The custom 24 quilt you mention is a set neck. The CE and SAS are bolt on. I think you should indulge that funny downstairs feeling and get one. :-) I never really clicked with a PRS either for years. I picked up the 35th anniversary SE custom 24 in the black gold burst and it quickly became one of my favorites.
I got a swamp ash recently. I own cores but I love the SE Swamp Ash as much. Cool tone think Page in Rock & Roll very bluesy vibe. The neck joint is amazing I can reach the 22 fret with ease. It is almost not there. a lot of guitar. I hate gig bags as they are not meant for gis I have seen way to much stuff fall on my hard cases to risk it.
I bought an Eventide Tricerachorus last year, and I'm totally blown away by it. Pricey, but it's totally worth every penny. I've become a huge fan of Eventide, and am seriously considering selling it to fund an H90, and basing my entire rig around that.
So looking forward to the iRig USB review! The Riptide is pretty damn cool seeing it already in action. Those new PRSs also look pretty nice, haven’t really tried one, it'd be cool! Walrus 365 MKII is sweet! What a week!!!!
It's not important how you smile, It is important why you smile. Keep smilin' Andy.

This channel is a service at this point, you're Awesome Andy with the guitar news!
Glad you think so!
I take my comment about the pricetag of the 385 MkII back. 250 is a GREAT price! This was indeed a great week in gear!
So when you getting one😂😂😂 you’ve worked hard!
Why won't Fender make more real guitars with 12" radius instead of the occasional short lived series and these dopey things nobody wants???
I subscribed To that billie joe guitar.
But can i even won it, if i'm living In Finland??
Please someone??

Tea and a crumpet today...
Oh what I’d give for a crumpet right now
@@TheGuitarGeek as if to make it worse, Ive just got back from my gig and I'm now having more crumpets...with jam!!!
80% sure that the 20% off PRS SE’s is on all models except the DGT, so even the new ones are on sale.
But the DGT is the one I want 😂
I have been gassing for a PRS SE.... funnily enough
Then you are in a wonderful or terrible position right now
what this the guitar next to the tele in the back??
It’s a Maybach Little Wing!
