Alright wow what an album. Loved the more guitar scentric sound its defintely a new direction and it works so well. The 7 minute track "a family" caught me off gaurd initially when i saw the length but the pure energy explosion in the last minute made the buildup worth it.
Really strong discography id say this even beats splittsville

But more seriously, you have a talent to make truly unique music. your music genuinely has a feeling it gives, as if you can reach out and touch it. It can be horrifying, it can be beautiful, but most importantly it is always unique, and pleasing to the ears and soul.

Curled up all Sock-Footed in a warm blanket, and my brain's a little Splitsville between hot cocoa or a bowl of soup. Can't really decide between One and the Other and i wish i had someone to Talkies too, but Hark! The only one who hears me is Old Rattle Bones. holy shit. this album did not disappoint. i need time to recover. more in depth: i love the seemingly prevalent theme of forests/woods/isolation in all of your work. it seems every song you make is produced with a certain melancholic air and i am SO here for it. all of your work describes something (a feeling or place) that was once here but now isnt. if mourning had a sound, it would be this album. and i love it. i love everything about hark...i need to hark....i need to hark.....
