Since Amy was always lustful to Sonic, I'm not surprised when the characters are on their days off saving the day, Sonic deliberately ignores Amy and her obsessive fangirl and attitude and funny enough, this was the last game that Amy was obsessed with Sonic and after that, she was either noticeably hiding it like in Sonic Boom or giving Sonic more space and being a caring friend but still having deep feelings

came back to this after the announcement and i love the little differences in reaction/demeanor classic sonic and modern sonic have. classic is newer to all of this and is faster react but a little more visibly unsure, surprised and concerned, he's also not used to going super and hasn't figured out how to use all his powers as is. meanwhile modern sonic is a bit slower to react/bounce back at some points, but seems way more sure of himself, relaxed and amused by everything, since he's been doing all of this for so long now and has definitely gotten used to high stakes, and he eases straight into being super sonic after all this time. but they're still equal and hype eachother up. it's such a great bit of detail and i adore it
