    I have the same kit, difference is the boot spoiler, I’m running an oem mtech 1. I am looking for an original set of skirts now as I also don’t enjoy the straight type I have now

      They are getting harder and harder to find in good condition!

    could you measure the base dimensions, stud length and thread size for the front and rear mtech stud plates?

    Did you use a specific rear bumper rubber trim or a regular euro bumper trim piece ?

    • @themaskeddriver
      @themaskeddriver  3 месяца назад

      Regular euro bumper trim, with the correct mtech 1 clips

    What wheels are you running

    Can you do this with early model e30? I have an 84, not sure what other options there are aside from going full euro bumper conversion

    • @themaskeddriver
      @themaskeddriver  Год назад

      Yes mtech1 fits all early model e30s 84-87. But yes you would need to do euro bumper conversion. Plastic bumpers and mtech 2 fits the front on early model but doesn't fit the rear without Trimming the rear bumper as the wheel arches are Slightly different on late model vs early model

    Hi, where did u buy the foglights? Do you have a link?

    • @themaskeddriver

      Fog lights came with the front valance from Garagistic

    Looks like you had the same issue i have with the rear. The OG MT1 kit is supposed to fit inside the inner rear wheel well, similar to how the side skirts attach to the inner wheel well, but these are just too short and dont make it to there. Did you solve this issue?

    • @themaskeddriver
      @themaskeddriver  Год назад

      I just needed some adjustments but it fits like it should. Bumper goes all the way to the arches

    Do you think a e30 would look funny with just the front m-tech1 valance?

    • @themaskeddriver
      @themaskeddriver  Год назад +2

      No, people mix and match kits to their liking. If you like it do it. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. But you still would need euro bumpers for mounting the mtech 1 front

      the screws come with the spoiler, I didn't end up modifying it.
