You really felt that one. It’s amazing that during the enjoyment of Lara, we often have breaks of tears. That’s how much she effects her audience.

This is Lara's signature song in which she wrote the lyrics in 1997 (music by Rick Allison) and was released on her CD "Pure". During this concert it has been said Lara had been going through some personal issues; some say health, some mentioned lost of someone close and others say a resent breakup prior to this concert. Whatever the reason her fans got wind of something was wrong so her fans approached her pianist and management team to arrange a tribute by singing her song. When Lara sing Je T'aime ("I Love You") her fans some 7000+ would sing On T'aime (We Love You!). Her first words when she started to sing was "you caught me off guard!"... Yes, I tear up every time I watch this video and I have done so several dozen times!

Lara was facing hard times , both on the personal (health, love betrayal and breakup) and professional (her progress blocked in the US by her own record company Sony, mainly because of politics from Celine Dion’s husband, Rene Angelil) sides.
Her fanbase knew it and wanted to show support and they used this song, her biggest hit, in France, but also in Russia and Eastern Europe, replacing the title” Je t’aime / I love you” by “On t’aime / We love you”.
I love how Lara, after the initial surprise, establishes a beautiful dialog with the crowd, giving them room to sing with her.
It shows how benevolent and humble she is.
The song itself is a gem and she has performed it in many different ways: here are 2 versions, the first one powerful, the second subtle and delicate

“Je t’aime” was written by Lara Fabian and Rick Allison, her music producer and composer. He also had been her boyfriend for a few years, at the start of her career. This song was written when their love evolved to a friendship and speaks about a couple splitting while still having a lot of sentiments one for the other.

Here's another song you may want to have tissues ready! "Pas sans Toi" (Not without You) ruclips.net/video/Bh7JfZa7lgY/видео.html Over the past years there have been songs that make me misty eyed, several by Lara. Others have been Angelina Jordan dedicating "You were always on my mind" to her grandfather who past a few days before this recording; this video is a one a done impromptu recording as are most of Angelina's home recording from Norway or California. Morisette Amon from the Philippines does two songs that move me to tears are "Could you be Messiah" and "Love You Still (sunset version)".
Angelina won Norway Got Talent in 2014 at age 8; her audition song was Billie Holiday's Gloomy Sunday. Here's her dedication to her grandfather: ruclips.net/video/dd8r7c-4-ks/видео.html
BTW, she was on America Got Talent at age 13; her audition was her arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody which Heidi Klum awarded her the Golden Buzzer! Queen love it an posted on their social media WOW!
Morissette Amon (Asia's Phoenix and The Philippines Mariah Carey). Love You Still (sunset version) ruclips.net/video/VpeD3hXK_Jc/видео.html Morissette and her now husband David wrote this song; hoping her father who hasn't spoken to her for many years and won't even let her mother and brother attend her wedding. Some say the reason was her father didn't approve of her relationship with David.
Could you be Messiah is a beautiful piece recorded in 1988. Gary Valenciano sang it “raw” in August 2020, and in 2021 Morissette Amon covered the song. “Could you be Messiah?” Gary want Mori to sing this song but she was reluctant at first! When Mori relented Gary stated that we know you can sing but can we have your heart! Freddie Santos wrote this song for a musical "First Name" he passed in 12/2020 and this version of his song was a dedication. ruclips.net/video/g7fa7yJ4ckM/видео.html
