I am so honored to have been her bass player on her recordings from the beginning to the end. And especially to have recorded the video of her when we were in the process of releasing a new song on her. More than you know she was a mother to me
My, my, my this woman sure was given a gift of song. A friend turned me on to her years ago and It’s been a a real blessing to hear her all these years. RIH
Hello thank you for your comments. I had the pleasure of playing bass on all of her major albums. That concert was to reintroduce her. I need to update the video, Tessie made her transition last year. The writer and producer Ed Robinson passed about 5 years ago and drummer Bobby Franklin just passed a month ago. I'm the last of the historical gospel. I will be telling more of their stories
Yes I am playing bass on that song and album. Written by Rance Allen. He was at the rehearsal for the recording and personally took me through the song singing and playing on piano
