Just saw your video and decided to check on mine. And sure enough just like you said it was unplugged the plastic clip that snaps in was broken so I’m sure with bounces here and there it came off
Yep some guy pulled up at 5:30 a m at the gas station truck stop and stole my goretex dry suit hanging for my porch, I ran outside with no pants on chasing him but couldn't catch him, great first welcome to the lower 48 lol
Always remember there's plenty of sharp edges easy to cut fingers and arms be careful my 76 F-150 4x4 only has window cranks I took old out and put new in God bless be safe ✝️🇺🇸
Another thing now though. Since I plugged in. My lock actuator moved up and down but I’m having to clock the lock or unlock button at least 4 times before being about to open the door or stay locked
That’s great…IF your locks failed leaving it in the unlocked position. What do I do when the lock is failed on the passenger side in the Locked position and the door is closed?
@@TruckHouseLife thank you, I’ve pulled the interior lever that goes with the handle, but since the lock is still engaged and can’t be unlocked it doesn’t do anything. I know there’s a piece inside the actuator that can manually unlock, but it’s pressed up against metal I can’t reach even though the plastic door panel cover is off
Shoot-Dang Ok , so did you get a full refund ? or keep it ?? Dude you gotta be hittin the road for Overland X soon right ?? I gotta spot so i hope to meet ya ~peace~
GR8 video, didn't help me 2007 envoy rear passenger door actuator seems to work I can hear it but dose not unlock door, the outside and inside handles feels like door is locked
@@TruckHouseLife I gave door panel off I see the rod move and its attached. Can't see what its attached to but I hear it clicking, I can move rod manually or with buttons, seems like whatever it's supposed move its no moving far enough
@@TruckHouseLife Yea it is, everything hooked up and working I tried to move rods with had forcing a lil more movement didn't help, something in the latch is broken the actuator is working fine

if your careful you can apply super glue or epoxy to outer edges of the plug before attaching it to help hold it in place as well

Hey, I have taken the door panel off, but I can’t get to the screws I need to remove the actuator since the door won’t open. Any ideas?
You’ll have to manually unlock the door, using something to pull the latch inside of the door now that you have the panel open

On the road man! Cya at the expo!

Double check that the actuator rod is actually trying to unlock the door, the actuator might work but the rod could totally be broken.
