Weekend Drive to MAO MARKET, Senapati, Manipur

Mao Market is situated in Senapati District of Manipur. It is approximately 107Kms from Imphal City. It took us little more than 3 hours because the road towards the last 20kms of reaching Mao was really bad. But once you reached Mao, you'll be greeted with so many beautiful and colorful flowers selling at almost all the shops. We went just to buy these flowers.
You can also shop for organic vegetables and fruits specially the local plum.
The locals are very friendly and always greet the visitors. Climate is cold as it is a hill station and foggy most of the time so make sure you carry atleast a warm jacket.

We should make more park n recreation place as well as good bus parking in mao gate.... So that traveller who used to travel in this road can get the chance for shopping n buying the organic fresh vegetables fruits from mao.. It can get the better economy for them also as well as we also get more benefits..
