Even without pre-show work, just tossing out letters and numbers at random to a crowd that large will result in a lot of hits, especially if people can respond with, 'That's my daughter.'. Getting house numbers correct by random is pretty lucky. He is or was a good showman. I think that is all he ever claimed to be. Work fast, lots of patter, move on quickly if something does not hit and people will remember the relatively few successes.

The guy's a Mentalist, not a psychic. It's just like a magician with specialty in recreating mind reading and other psychic abilities.

first of all somebody buying a ticket to the show all you has to do is Google their name and it gives family members like his daughter whatever it's not that hard to do

Kreskin was doing this stuff in 1970, that's 28 years before Google! He does not claim to have paranormal or clairvoyant powers, and does not like to be considered a "psychic". He's just a performer with a set of cold-reading skills and some way of gathering info, but it couldn't have been Google in the 70's, though yes it could be done that way these days!

@@zantas-handle Exactly, plus the fact that Google isn't always correct.

if he's so "shitty" why has he played to sold out houses for years? you don't make yourself look good, by running down someone who actually has credentials

+Dan Lucas I presume then that you think you could do better? You don't even know what cold reading is! You're just another know-it-all douchebag tossing a catchphrase around and trying to look smart! Pathetic!
