To get a better score I'd consider identifying all the flags in the first screen before starting and then following the right bottom corner (of the right most column) to identify incoming flags.

In 2022 I was introduced to flags by RUclips video and I got really interested in geography and Jack inspired me to keep going.

I think you could go much faster if you didn't move the mouse as you're looking through since your mouse is much slower than your eyes. If you just looked at the whole board found the flag then moved your mouse to it.
