Blast from the Past: SMRT Old NS17 Bishan Station

Filmed on 17 October 2007, C651 Set 219/220 and C151 Set 123/124 (Unrefurb) on the same day respectively. This is Bishan station prior to the renovation to integrate with the Circle Line.

Now the southbound platform of this station is where the train approaches and the doors open by the left instead of the right side

Reminiscing the old Bishan MRT Station, without full height platform screen doors and separated platforms, but then it has since got it's southbound platform separated to make space for the linkage to the Circle Line, maybe because there is a space constraints if they make the southbound platforms at the original platforms for the linkage to the circle line? Maybe.....

I was just 13 days old then when this video was posted. I only knew it as an underground but aboveground station. The one and only in fact. Btw how did the train start to depart Bishan but still stopped at Bishan?
