Cut off the flowers because they're a waste of energy. Once the bananas appear, the banana plant has started to die. You want all the remaining energy to be put into fattening up those bananas, not wasted on flowers.
Isaaa.. vinaka WakaFamily these life lessons will stick with your sons for the rest of their lives. Love their determination to take on chores beyond their strength & ability. Thank you Stephanie & Johnathan for inspiring people with what you do on this platform. God Bless!

Admire how you raise your boys, most of the children missed out in this type of up bringing because of exposing to gadgets and their parent don't even care. Keep it up.
Good to train em young John it will pay dividends later on in life! Interesting with banana flower I remember we did the same back home but when you talk to other banana plantation owners they say it doesn’t make a significant amount of difference in fruit size maybe you could test it out and let us know?
Isa I remember when I was a small boy I used to go to the bush and dig wild yams with my dad no lunch no water just drink coconut juice collect firewood, bro you really trained your two boys well it's true the bible says train your child when they a young when they grow old they will never come away from it,very encouraging i hope all fijian child will lean from, keep it up and godbless

We fight gadgets every day too. And it doesn’t help that we ourselves as parents are in gadgets all the time as well so we gotta lead by example too…
