If it’s normal track day rules then this is 100% the van’s fault. Won’t mean he has to cough up anything for the MR2 damage though unless he takes some responsibility!
cool video mate, i didnt catch any crashes on my video but was still a good day, there was a white mk2 golf that crashed into some tyres aswell, i got a mk2 escort doing donuts while recording everyone leaving!
IF they were told no overtaking on corners only on the straight and on the left at drivers meeting like most demo sprints Vans fault ! But if a msa licensed sprint its the MR2 for not looking what coming up to pass him..
Definitely told no overtaking on corners. I'd been told about the incident but not seen video until now. I'm less convinced by the "my brakes failed" reason I was given to be honest. One thing we ALWAYS try to do is ensure that if someone ends up crunching their car, it is their fault and not another person on track (which is part of why we run a sprint (among other reasons)). So I'm very sad this has happened.
Blame, fault, responsibility is all fine and dandy. Chances are neither was insured, so tough shit read the smallprint etc. Sad thing is it was not a one car crash.

Yes it was a great day! I caught the golf hit the tyre - I've uploaded it in another video.
That guy in the van is a legend he did drag week in America with that van.

@@TheRetroRides If you want a laugh he managed to get on netflix on episode 3 of hyperdrive, his driving was equally as shocking.
Ridiculous, what should have been a 2 lap bit of fun ends like that. Feel for the MR2 owner.
Did you film any more of the tracktime?
Yes I’ve got quite a few clips, I’m editing those currently and will be uploading them within the next couple of days.
@@MilesOnCars awesome mate il keep an eye out

Could someone explain to me why that blue brick on wheels tried to do some dumb shit like that?
Van said he lost brakes
🤦
Is this what brought out the red flag?
Or was the red flag earlier
I saw two red flags, this was definitely one of them. I think the other was because of an oil spill, but not too sure.
@@MilesOnCars Yeah, the first red flag was when the black moggy span out on the oil spill I think.
@@MilesOnCars I thought the oil spill was the same van
@@MilesOnCars was this the second red flag? I left after the first I think
