Great seeing "Differently Alike" pop up in the live chat during Rolling Quartz's 2024.12.29 Year End Party concert on RUclips. (5am start for the hardcore Belgian Diadem duo.) And then the very first song they played was... Reminiscence!!! And then (~ 42 : 40) you got a shout out from Iree & Jayoung reading your generous chat, followed by Hyunjung saying something about you, too! Very cool.
Funny, because Rolling Quartz did play that song in a music show a few day ago as special guest, also they will have a big North America tour next year. Lucky me, they are coming here in Montreal and i will go see them and meet them in April 2025 (i already got my ticket ready), so i am super excited. On a other note, they will do a online end year concert on the 29 December. i'm hoping that you will catch-up on all their releases, they even released a new song like a few days ago too. Oh, forget to say that rolling Quartz is one of the few group where i have more then one biases, Yeongeun is bias1 and Iree is Bias2. So Rolling Quartz Fighting!
Yeah we watched the latest release and then I realised that we didn’t post the other video. Then also saw 2 videos we’ve missed. I just keep repeating the songs I have in Apple Music 😔 We gotta step up for real. New tour is happening 🥺💚
Rocky-blues or Bluesy-rock, this one is my favorite song by Rolling Quartz. When it came out a few months ago I got the same feeling as Esosa describes. Major goosebumps, hair standing on the back of my neck and arms. I grew up with this kind of blues/rock music in the late 80s and early 90s. Rolling Quartz really captures those era's vibe. This song is a cover song of the 30th anniversary of the great Korean rock group Sanulrim. In the middle, there is a song by the old gentleman who was a member at the time.
Hi ladies, it’s been a long time. I saw you two on the RQ Vlog meeting our girls at the concert, and after that nothing from you. No reactions, reviews, nothing. I thought something went sour in the meeting. Regarding this ‘Remake Project’ on request from Kim Chang Hoon (sitting in the middle of the studio) from Sanullim, RQ lifted this song into a much higher dimension. In Kim Chang Hoon’s own words: “Rolling Quartz made up for the regrets of the original” “ Five star performance”. In my opinion Ja Young’s vocals in this song are stellar, her scat singing is better than a lot of professional jazz singers’. All of them are absolutely amazing, you specially mentioned Arem, she is the epitome of the rock bassist, having her Fender Jazz hung very low, playing with a pick. You could put her in any top rock band from the 80s, she would fit in perfect. I saw them in Sydney, they were fire. You should check out Re.Bold, their latest single, it is Explosive, literally… Thanks for the reaction and reading my spill…

I mostly watch your videos on Dreamcatcher (because I’m a big fan of the rock and metal music) and since DC has a following of fans from those genres not just K-pop I was surprised to see this reaction to Rolling Quartz so I was curious how you ladies think about the all female rock and metal bands from Japan since there are some really good bands there but if it’s not your cup of tea then I would understand.
