Norway 22/23 and “idc about the result but about the actual improvement” damn than you should’ve put Gåte here, they came 20 positions lower but as a performance it was much better than Alessandra and a hell of an improvement
Norway this year was horrendous, last place deserved. Didn't actually needed the qualification, but at least KEiiNO wasn't sent (they've been mediocre after their 2019 entry)

I will never forgive ANYONE for not voting for Lord Of The Lost. Germany finally sent a non-pop/non-ballad track, yet y'all paid it dust... and proceed to like the same formula in 2024. Isaak will never be better than LOTL, it's just y'all stick to the same format for way too long.
Finland 2022 and 2023 both were great entries, I will always defend The Rasmus if people say it was bad. It wasn't! However, Croatia did get the best upgrade since Let 3 was an absolute disgrace for Croatia. I'm glad Baby Lasagna changed it all for them.
Gustaph is the best Belgian entry since 2016. Man, I never vibed on a song from Belgium like I still do with Because Of You
People can vote for what they like don't force them to vote for a country just because it does bad in the contest. I like Germany, but the song last and this year wasn't my cup of tee

Biggest improvement (song wise): Croatia 2023 -> Croatia 2024

If five places is enough to be considered an improvement, Armenia’s 2022->2023->2024 should have been on here when they literally jumped 6 more places higher each year (20th in 2022, 14th in 2023, and 8th in 2024), and this is just on top of my head im sure there’re plenty more examples)

Considering Circus Mircus -> Iru as an improvement is a choice. I would prefer Iru to Nutsa instead.

Yes, I also would have compared Iru to Nutsa. Not only in terms of results. Is it really that much worse than Echo? I don't think so. But that's what makes this list so interesting and us wanna hit our keyboards.

My opinions of each one
Ireland: I don't like either one of these entries.
Finland: I prefer Jezebel over Cha Cha Cha
Czechia: No question about this one, Lights Off is a masterpiece
Croatia: Baby Lasagna should have won
Georgia: Improvement for three years in a row, actually I like 2022, 2023 and 2024, but mostly 2024, Nutsa was sooo robbed, deserved top 3
Sweden: Cornelia and Tusse were both great
Switzerland: Remo is 100 times better than Nemo in my opinion, sorry
Austria: Girls in 2023 had a boring staging but great song
Malta: Sarah's performance was great but the song was so boring. Nonetheless, neither The Busker nor Sarah deserved last place.
Norway: The only thing I care about is Gåte being last in the 2024 final, like... really?! Best Norwegian entry in so many years and then Europe does this... Alessandra is a great performer but I didn't really like her song. Subwoolfer is an iconic meme.
UK: I actually thought James' performance was so sweet! He deserved better!
Germany: I like both of these entries for different reasons.
Belgium: Okay I'm going to sound like a b*tch but idc. I didn't like "Miss you" and I wanted Montenegro to qualify instead of him. But compared to the 2023 entry... Everything is better than that one. I really, really don't like Gustaph's song and entry and I cannot understand how it placed 7th while Mustii didn't qualify with that masterpiece of a song in 2024.
Poland: Ochman is amazing, and tbh Bejba became a huge meme too
Spain: Another unpopular opinion. SloMo is sooo commercial and boring. The lyrics are just stupid. Only quality is the dancing and singing well att the same time. The real improvement for me is 2023, Blanca is the most authentic Spanish act ever in my opinion and she was shamefully, criminally underrated. My second place that year.
Greece: I agree that it's an improvement but somehow the staging for Marina's song was so weird, not to mention the outfit...
Gustaph DID DESERVE the qualification, mf proved you homophobic fuckers wrong! But then again, I'm glad you and I think the same about Switzerland.
