Favorite part of any track is up through the S flat out there. You just feel the whole car compress on entry and the G’s pushing you into the seat. The amount of grip through there is incredible. Thanks for the comment man !
Here's a free aero trick, those flaps in front of the front wheels can be repositioned. If you put them so they're parallel with the front axle instead of perpendicular, you get a little more front downforce because it manages the turbulence of the front tires a bit better. You will lose like 1 mph from your EOS speed, but you'll gain in the corners.
Been tracking the car since 2017 with the oem calipers and rotors, with the ducts I’ve never had fade once! I don’t track enough to need a bbk, $100 to change the front rotors once a season and I’m good to go
What is the wheel set up you are running? And did you have to make any modifications to the fenders? I’m trying to look for the biggest wheels / tires I can get on a s2000 without having to do any fenders mods
Probably not, as a daily I need that to last. These type of events are very hard on cars even though I’m sure the k20 would handle it just fine. All the 1.5T car would definitely have overheating issues without anything aftermarket
2-1/2 year old 245/40/17 nankang CR1 . If you rotate them throughout the event you can probably get 2-5 hard days on them depending on how hard you push them
Great video. That is such a great track. Those still photos at the start of the video are perfect.
Man 110 around the S turns holding 4th! Thing looks like it’s on rails!

Fabulous. Through the esses looks like pure joy. "What music!"
Great driving Naus! Your pride and joy was ripping reliably all day ❤
That was an awesome watch, and, super inspiring ❤
Thank you for the comment my friend !

hey, man big fan of the channel. stoked to see more track footage!
You look great out there dude!
You were missed good buddy! Thank you!
So close!
Brilliant. Love it mate. How have you found the OEM calipers / pads and ducting with heat dissipation?

Another great vid from the s2000 dad on YT! Heard you banging on limiter a few times, so I am curious. Are you running ap2 retainers and keepers?
Yes I have ap2 Intake retainers. One of the first mods I did back in 2016! I think my redline is 9200 now with the emanage karcepts tune
@@NAUS2Kare the emanage karcepts tune still for sale?
Yes I think if you get in contact with karcepts you can still send him an emanage to flash the tune on, but he no longer sells the units themselves

Car is oem untouched fenders . Wheel details on video description brotha!
Do you haul the s2k to the track or do you carry your tools in the car itself?
I trailer it , I use my pops 05 ram and enclosed trailer back from my kart racing days . Someday I’ll have my own rig
Any chance you’ll take your hatchback to an event like this?
Probably not, as a daily I need that to last. These type of events are very hard on cars even though I’m sure the k20 would handle it just fine. All the 1.5T car would definitely have overheating issues without anything aftermarket
Hey just saw your wheel specs. +60 on offset. Is the s2k oem spec that agressively positive?
Yes the oem wheels have a high offset as well, but they are much narrower so the are not nearly as flush
@NAUS2K thanks.. I had no idea s2k was that offset.
Are you still happy with Ohlins? Anything else you wanna do but maybe cant because rules
Absolutely, they have been fantastic since I put them on the car in 2018. Haven’t touched them since
@@NAUS2K Great to hear
What tires? And do you go through a set ?
