You should really listen to their latest album Formula of Love. They stayed within pop but experimented in every possible way. They’ve been contributing more and more to their music (composing and songwriting) and it’s coming through in their latest discography. Highly highly recommend. Their evolution really started right after Fancy so if you start from Feel Special era you will see a beautiful evolution and maturation of their music.

The title tracks which you listened to are poppy and catchy and meant to get attention BUT it doesnt really represent the whole TWICE music. alot of their really good songs are Bsides. It's very interesting about the "pop" thing you said about TWICE. Since 2015 until the end of 2018, their trademark was bubblegum pop and their songs were (and still are) catchy AF. But, since 2019, even tho Fancy is still bbg pop, their sound matured. So, their newest releases sound like TWICE, but maturing. Like a woman maturing, so they began to experiment with other lyrics and genres, that's why the bsides are a lot more fun to listen to cuz you don't know what to expect. But, all are bops, catchy as hell and the title choreos? Impeccable and funny to vibe with, the choreos are a lil harder now, but still amazing. No skips. Also, you know a TWICE song when you hear it, you JUST KNOW it hahaha Their albums ARE FIREEEEE. I love TWICE so MUUUUUCH, they're my comfort group ❤️❤️❤️

OMG TWICE!!! I think they're one of the few groups in KPop who owns cute concepts while also being versatile enough to pull-off different sounds and genre. Most groups in KPop right now are leaning towards "girl-crush" (kinda like a bad-ass concept) but Twice stays true to their color. Also, they are so hilarious and cute :))

They have the "Cute/Bubbly" image in their early years and they were the best on it, mostly because of their title tracks (which bare ALL BOPS btw). But their b-sides are on another level, I recommend you listen to their latest full album, Formula of Love:O+T=
I recommend listening to "Merry & Happy" for Christmas. For a whole new different sound, listen to "Cry For Me" and "Perfect World" these two don't sound like their other songs, not even a tiny bit. Also "Feel Special" but this one really needs english translations to actually receive what they're trying to convey. The rest of their songs are mostly bubblegum pop, but for new fans who'd love to know what TWICE actually sounds like, listen to "Likey" and their Japanese hit song "Candy Pop" even Camila Cabello loved it. "Like Ooh-Ahh" is their debut song, "Cheer Up" was the one that got them blew up in South Korea, then they continuously release hit bubblegum pop songs until "Fancy". 2019-2020 was a 180 twist to the group's musics.
Their Albums from 2019 till now shows the girl's maturity and vocal flex, can't suggest a song or two but can suggest the full albums to fully appreciate it. This makes me feel so proud😭 I already knew them since debut but I decided to stan them in Cheer Up era. 2016 was a roller coaster for Onces, while receiving huge popularity and love they also got a big amount of hate. I was one of those people who would always defend them and tried to prove people how amazing they are as a group. Seeing how people are constantly giving them love is so heartwarming😭❤️. Yes she should listen to it but Formula Of Love is their best imo,, eyes wide open is their 2nd best but I personally think there’s a couple filler-type songs in eyes wide open

I came to know about Twice in 2020, during quarantine, when they released More & More. I had just gotten into BTS' music, so i decided to give More & More a listen. I fell HARD. Then ICSM came out, i listened to it 24/7, as i did Fancy. I became obsessed. To me, Twice makes perfect pop music. Right after Alcohol Free i decided to become a Once. During the past 2 months i have been listening to all of their b-sides and my love for them has done nothing but grow. I HIGHLY recommend them to pop fans. They are extremely talented, charismatic, and they sure do know how to put on a show. Now, i have 8 of their korean albums at home, ordered their upcoming Season's Greetings, and bought a VLive ticket for their show on the 26th. Twice literally won me over. They are the best.

The first ever Kpop group I've fallen with, I've been a Once for a year now, and I'm still not over them, they just release so much content that any people can enjoy, and not to mention their funny and friendly fandom (ONCE), I really love them. I'm sure you'll enjoy your journey with them, looking through their distinct personalities, amazing talent, and kind attitude you will surely feel more connected with them. they never really promoted outside Korea and Japan. I heard they didn't even have English subtitles till 2018-19. many people think their music is cutesy and bubbly, but I think that's what helps you to enjoy and vibe with their songs. and something about their song makes you smile. Their latest Japanese EP was released Dec 15th and the title track Doughnut is a nice warm Christmas-y ballad song. There was another Japanese album released earlier this year and the title track Perfect World is so good!! And it’s so different from their korean music. Other than FOL, Taste of Love is a korean EP they released this year. (Yeah, they are one of the most hardworking groups not just in kpop industry but probably in the whole world lol; as fans, we are very much spoiled)

Feel Special ('Feel Special' is an uplifting song that celebrates the feeling of being there for someone. The genre is fast-paced dance-pop track, and also this song has deep meaning since Twice member has lot of hard times during that day) 2. Love Foolish (“Love Foolish” is official MTV’s best B-Side of 2019, beating up lot of male or female contender during that year, the genre itself is full synth electronic with medium beat dance track) 3. Cry for Me (One of Twice’s heartbreak song, this track blew up after them premiered it at the MNET Asian Music Awards 2020, the genre is dance-ballad *maybe but I just love how they deliver such a tragic meaning in beautiful way) 4.ICON (“ICON” is a powerful song about expressing the iconic side of them as an artist for 6 years without hesitation. The genre is reggae-dance + its English song, reminds me of Ariana Grande’s side to side) Honestly their beast-track was bubblegum pop track, but I think since you only casual listener for honorable mentions purpose, here we go: Likey, Heart Shaker, Dance the Night Away, Yes of Yes, etc.

I think you with TWICE's music, you would really appreciate their musical evolution. I find their growth to be amazing, and imo i think the big shift in their musical direction started making huge changes around Yes or YEs/Fancy.

Yes, that’s true, actually 4/9 of the members are foreign (by that I mean not from South Korea) which is nearly half! 5 are Korean (Jihyo, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Jeongyeon and Nayeon) 3 are Japanese (Momo, Mina and Sana) and 1 is Taiwanese (Tzuyu).

You should really listen to their latest album Formula of Love. They stayed within pop but experimented in every possible way. They’ve been contributing more and more to their music (composing and songwriting) and it’s coming through in their latest discography. Highly highly recommend. Their evolution really started right after Fancy so if you start from Feel Special era you will see a beautiful evolution and maturation of their music.
They do all get solo parts in every song, but they do have a main/lead vocalists who tend to get the bigger part of the lines/high notes, depending on the song~

If youre interested to get to know their music more then i suggest you listen to their B-side songs. The title tracks which you listened to are poppy and catchy and meant to get attention BUT it doesnt really represent the whole TWICE music. alot of their really good songs are Bsides. Plus they wrote alot of them.
I’m ALWAY interested in B-sides from groups. That’s the next step for sure.

twice is the versatile kpop queens, did disco, retro, latin, summer, strong, color pop, chemistry and christmas concepts in just a year (2021), they're a type of group who loves to try new things and more eager to discover more genres, and they nail every concept.

It's very interesting about the "pop" thing you said about TWICE.
Since 2015 until the end of 2018, their trademark was bubblegum pop and their songs were (and still are) catchy AF. But, since 2019, even tho Fancy is still bbg pop, their sound matured. So, their newest releases sound like TWICE, but maturing. Like a woman maturing, so they began to experiment with other lyrics and genres, that's why the bsides are a lot more fun to listen to cuz you don't know what to expect. But, all are bops, catchy as hell and the title choreos? Impeccable and funny to vibe with, the choreos are a lil harder now, but still amazing. No skips. Also, you know a TWICE song when you hear it, you JUST KNOW it hahaha
Their albums ARE FIREEEEE. I love TWICE so MUUUUUCH, they're my comfort group ❤️❤️❤️

OMG TWICE!!! I think they're one of the few groups in KPop who owns cute concepts while also being versatile enough to pull-off different sounds and genre. Most groups in KPop right now are leaning towards "girl-crush" (kinda like a bad-ass concept) but Twice stays true to their color. Also, they are so hilarious and cute :))

TWICE's discography is gold. They always try something new, which makes them really one of a kind. And personally, I kinda understand why What is Love is popular, it just hits different, for me at least and yeah it's my all time fave TWICE song and album
What's different and unique about Twice is that they never give you the same boring music everytime, each and every song will be different, they love to experiment with their music.. They are one of the very few K-pop artists who provide this much versatility. In this current world where most of the people just love those girl-crush or high-beat music, Twice is the one who provide you something different. Even when entering into the western market, they could've easily done a high-beat noisy song but they chose to stick to their own orginal bubblegum pop music with their first English single The Feels.
And above all that, these 9 girls are the most humble, kind and the best person you could ever meet on this planet.

TWICE's genre IS *TWICE*. They have a various genres in their discography. They have the "Cute/Bubbly" image in their early years and they were the best on it, mostly because of their title tracks (which bare ALL BOPS btw). But their b-sides are on another level, I recommend you listen to their latest full album, Formula of Love:O+T=
I recommend listening to "Merry & Happy" for Christmas.
For a whole new different sound, listen to "Cry For Me" and "Perfect World" these two don't sound like their other songs, not even a tiny bit. Also "Feel Special" but this one really needs english translations to actually receive what they're trying to convey.
The rest of their songs are mostly bubblegum pop, but for new fans who'd love to know what TWICE actually sounds like, listen to "Likey" and their Japanese hit song "Candy Pop" even Camila Cabello loved it.
"Like Ooh-Ahh" is their debut song, "Cheer Up" was the one that got them blew up in South Korea, then they continuously release hit bubblegum pop songs until "Fancy". 2019-2020 was a 180 twist to the group's musics.
Their Albums from 2019 till now shows the girl's maturity and vocal flex, can't suggest a song or two but can suggest the full albums to fully appreciate it. More & More, Eyes Wide Open, Taste of Love and Formula of Love as the latest ones. Not even mentioning their Japanese albums which has more of a vocal flex than most. Hope you enjoy your Deep dive.

This makes me feel so proud😭 I already knew them since debut but I decided to stan them in Cheer Up era. 2016 was a roller coaster for Onces, while receiving huge popularity and love they also got a big amount of hate. I was one of those people who would always defend them and tried to prove people how amazing they are as a group. Seeing how people are constantly giving them love is so heartwarming😭❤️. More power to TWICE next year.

I came to know about Twice in 2020, during quarantine, when they released More & More. I had just gotten into BTS' music, so i decided to give More & More a listen. I fell HARD. Then ICSM came out, i listened to it 24/7, as i did Fancy. I became obsessed. To me, Twice makes perfect pop music. Right after Alcohol Free i decided to become a Once. During the past 2 months i have been listening to all of their b-sides and my love for them has done nothing but grow. I HIGHLY recommend them to pop fans. They are extremely talented, charismatic, and they sure do know how to put on a show. Now, i have 8 of their korean albums at home, ordered their upcoming Season's Greetings, and bought a VLive ticket for their show on the 26th. Twice literally won me over. They are the best.
My journey with Twice is so like yours. Starting point More & More (introduced by my young daughter), and now ended up having multiple Twice albums at home and beyond live concert on 26/12/21.

The first ever Kpop group I've fallen with, I've been a Once for a year now, and I'm still not over them, they just release so much content that any people can enjoy, and not to mention their funny and friendly fandom (ONCE), I really love them. I'm sure you'll enjoy your journey with them, looking through their distinct personalities, amazing talent, and kind attitude you will surely feel more connected with them. I heard they didn't even have English subtitles till 2018-19. many people think their music is cutesy and bubbly, but I think that's what helps you to enjoy and vibe with their songs. and something about their song makes you smile. Their latest Japanese EP was released Dec 15th and the title track Doughnut is a nice warm Christmas-y ballad song. There was another Japanese album released earlier this year and the title track Perfect World is so good!! And it’s so different from their korean music. Other than FOL, Taste of Love is a korean EP they released this year. (Yeah, they are one of the most hardworking groups not just in kpop industry but probably in the whole world lol; as fans, we are very much spoiled)

1.) Twice made their debut in 2015 and is one of BIGGEST music acts in Korea. Just to put things into perspective, imagine the KPop scene as a house. The world knows BTS and Blackpink lives there but when you enter the house, you will discover that Twice is there sitting at the table and being a huge presence (everyone who practically gets into KPop will always be met with Twice's name because they are EVERYWHERE in Korea and are highly respected)
2.) They are most commonly known for their "cutesy concepts" and bubblegum pop sound since 2015 BUT they have been exploring different genres since 2019. An independent study conducted last year showed that Twice had the most diverse discography in terms of genre for a KPop girl group (their songs took sounds and elements from over 35 genres and this was before the their multiple releases this 2021 which included bossa nova, disco-funk, 80's pop, tango rock, 90's rnb, J-pop).
3.) Despite being known for their iconic and perfect synchronized dancing, all of them are registered lyricists and some have also participated in composing songs and music production. Their last EP, Taste of Love (the album which Alcohol-Free was a title track for) had 5/6 songs with lyrics written by the members. It ranked as the HIGHEST scored EP by a girlgroup (not just KPop) in Metacritic and even debuted at #6 in US Billboard 200

Nice reaction, great to know you’re not too biased nor over reacted to Twice. Honestly if you need recommendation to their songs in diverse genre and concept, I’ll recommend:
1. Feel Special ('Feel Special' is an uplifting song that celebrates the feeling of being there for someone. The genre is fast-paced dance-pop track, and also this song has deep meaning since Twice member has lot of hard times during that day)
2. Love Foolish (“Love Foolish” is official MTV’s best B-Side of 2019, beating up lot of male or female contender during that year, the genre itself is full synth electronic with medium beat dance track)
3. Cry for Me (One of Twice’s heartbreak song, this track blew up after them premiered it at the MNET Asian Music Awards 2020, the genre is dance-ballad *maybe but I just love how they deliver such a tragic meaning in beautiful way)
4.ICON (“ICON” is a powerful song about expressing the iconic side of them as an artist for 6 years without hesitation. The genre is reggae-dance + its English song, reminds me of Ariana Grande’s side to side)
Honestly their beast-track was bubblegum pop track, but I think since you only casual listener for honorable mentions purpose, here we go: Likey, Heart Shaker, Dance the Night Away, Yes of Yes, etc.

Beautiful thing about twice is each song is different, and definitely makes you want to look TWICE! I recommend the songs written by the members, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and some others have worked on a few B side tracks and are credited in their discography

I think you with TWICE's music, you would really appreciate their musical evolution. I find their growth to be amazing, and imo i think the big shift in their musical direction started making huge changes around Yes or YEs/Fancy.

Yes, that’s true, actually 4/9 of the members are foreign (by that I mean not from South Korea) which is nearly half! 5 are Korean (Jihyo, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Jeongyeon and Nayeon) 3 are Japanese (Momo, Mina and Sana) and 1 is Taiwanese (Tzuyu).
