Wow just the other day I was asking God how can I be closer to him and he told me that I need to start fasting because fasting is a big part of hearing his voice clearly.

Last week I tried to do a three day fast after the Lord gave me Daniel 10 in prayer. I wanted to start out with three days since that's the most days that I have fasted in the past and then go from there. After the first 28 hours I felt so weak l could barely stand up. Needless to say, I was forced to break my fast. I know after seeing this video where I made my mistake. I was trying to do a complete fast, not realizing that I could actually eat certain things on the Daniel fast. Thank you for this video. And thanks for the anointing oil. I just used it this morning to pray over my home after taking communion.
Wow!! Yes, an absolute fast is definitely possible but much tougher. I'm glad this video could she some light and I'm so happy you we're able to use the anointing oil. :) Praise God!
I am very interested in dedicating some time to be with God fully before my wedding next month. I want to begin the fast tomorrow. I will incorporate it with a dopamine fast to avoid highly stimulating activities ( limited social media, limited tv and internet) I am praying for God to hear me on some very important issues and I just want to block out the noise. Anyone out there in September 2020. I will dedicate you as well in prayers. God bless all of you ☺️
I found extremely helpful. I've felt guilty for not being able to sustain a fast, so I left out the part where one is moved by The Holy Spirit. This has talked to me and shed a perspective. Thank you very much Karolyne.
Thank you so much young lady for your great input about the Daniel fast. I have been saved for many, many years and i have fasted over the years i have been saved. But i haven't fasted in such a long, long time because of health reasons and other problems. This will be the first time through i have ever did the Daniel fast and i know i will love it, because i love fruits and vegetables anyway, i really don't need meat. Of course i have eaten meat, but if i only had to live of fruits and vegetables i wouldn't have a problem with it at all. To God be the glory for the things he is doing in our lives and for the great things he is about to do over and over again. lol lol yes lord yes.
I’ve been wanting to fast for some time now and been struggling with it but I believe that the Daniel fast would be great for me and I’m looking forward to it. The Daniel fast is very very hard!! I lost five pounds in two days! I would be completely dead after my workout! Did Wts and 12 miles. I was also grouchy the first two days! It was better by the third day! Finished the whole Bible in two months.

The dispensation of eschatology 25-30 hours and listen to 20-25 sermon a week. People are going to be very much surprised when they are not raptured before the tribulation starts!

Don't know why so many churches don't like to preach from the Book of Revelation but I feel that it is very important to study Revelation. You have spurred me to increase my Bible study. I don’t know of any pastors in Iowa talking about revelation or the things that are happening, it’s ridiculous. I was given a bunch of boarders if I was to talk about it at church. I wrote up 18 letters and mailed them to the people on my dead end street. Which Is 18 families. I didn’t get one good response. I was at work and some guy came and shook the letter at my wife. The letter wasn’t offensive but all true. I don’t know who it was so can’t even talk to him. I believe the tribulation will start anytime in the two yrs. it is a good possibility by 2029 half the population will die due to the tribulation.

I’ve been doing something similar. Once a week I fast for the whole day only drink water then in the evening when the sun sets I have vegetable and chicken soup , then only have fruits and vegetables for the rest of the evening and night.
Being a teen and living with my luekwarm parents is hard, because they will probably not let me fast, and they will probably think I'm going too far with God.
Being a teenager with lukewarm parents as well I definitely understand that and I experience that first hand on the regular! It’s definitely hard but it’s worth it. God will guide you and allow you to complete what He has called you to do as long as you have faith!❤️ Don’t worry about what they will think. It’s not about them but it’s about your relationship with God.There were times where it was tough for me but most of the time I kept my fasting private between me and God so my parents had no room to intervene with what God was doing and transforming. Every time I fast I receive so many blessings and doors open in my life. Which was worth my parents thinking I’m going too far or crazy lol. Because I know they can’t grant me what God can. I will tell you though the closer you get to God you will encounter obstacles harder than your parents so prepare yourself. It’ll be worth it when you find yourself walking on the gold streets of Heaven! God says in 2 Timothy 3:12 “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted”. So I’ll be sending prayers for God to give you strength!

I'm currently on my 2nd fast for 2024 and after I'm done I want to. do a 21 day Daniel fast and this video has really helped me to understand it.

Keep being strong. Give them biblical references to why fasting is important.
When I was pregnant and nursing, I would give up all deserts and junk food, (I would probably add processed foods & white sugar to that list now)
