He is so accomplished now as a musician but I'm most amazed how he continues to grow and viscerally enjoy playing. I was playing Here Comes the Sun (in A without a capo) and a woman came in the store paying for her son's guitar lessons and she just stops and says " I've Forgotten How Beautiful A Guitar Sounds." Julian is always bringing the beauty.
He wrings more out of a Tele than any artist I have ever seen. But I have to wonder -- why not the Collings here? It is the perfect platform for his peerless dynamics. I am looking to see him in the near future and am hoping he features that "new" guitar.

That Collings is great, but personally I much prefer him on the Tele. I guess we're lucky that these days we get to hear him on both!
