There is difference between greed and growth. I'm understanding that the word mentioned here as greed was meant as growth. Because greed finds shortcuts for possibility which can lead to disaster but the desire for growth is different dimension.
The greates explaination of spirtual wisdom smashing the materialist limitations. When you desire some " thing" at any given time, you are holding yourself back to the limitations of those desires at the time, so when those desires are fulfilled, you have already outgrown them, and this is why there is so much trauma in the material/physical world. A practical example. As a teenager your greatest desire is for a particulat pair of shoes. It takes a year befor you can afford them, by which time your feet have ourgrown them.
If you are reading this... Remember when you thought you would never get through some stuff! And... Look at you, you are here, you ARE ALIVE, you made it! You are so much stronger that you think you are! Everything will be fine, you deserve to live life fully and to gain stability, peace and happiness. You are already moving in that direction! Love and blessings from my heart to yours!
_"... desire will become a powerful force ..."_ Yeah. If it can be satisfied in time. But it won't. So it becomes your biggest suffering ... Welcome to your life.
Modern day Gurus are greedy. They all want to enjoy the flavour of materialism. We are living at a time when greed has engulfed everybody. Remove contentment and enough from the dictionary.
