My new video blog with me going around the 2021 San Diego Comic Con Special Edition Convention walking around the convention floor dealers room looking for Blu-rays and Dvds and Toys as well as any exclusives items during the first day at San Diego Comic-Con International 2021 Special Edition as I walk around the San Diego Comic Con Exhibit Hall. In my video I walk all around the floor as well as the autograph room at the SDCC 2021 Special Edition Convention. Decided to go to comic con instead of any Black Friday 2021 sales this year.

When there is loud copyright music played couldn’t you turn the volume down to zero so that you could still film the items and then add a voiceover later?
READ your program, all the information is in there. It opens Friday at 12:00 and this convention is a mini version of years past.

Once again your comments and experience are key. Getting back to the full swing will be much smoother. The two month short notice was the most difficult obstacle.
Getting the word out for the experience and future projects will build up as we go but the very missed vendors and comic artists as well as the food and booths were key establishing the event.
Your are awesome and your family is as always have been some of the best SDCC fans and all we can say is. WELCOME BACK. ONTO THE NEXT ONE!!

If they had sold single day passes the attendance would have gone way up. Plenty of people would have chosen to either go Fri, Sat, or Sun. I don't know why they only made a 3 day pass available.

That was cool that you got in a bit early! Definitely feels watered down compared to previous years, but I'm sure it was good to get back to them again. We just had one here at the beginning of the month and it was great to be back. Ended up meeting William Shatner and a couple of others...

Cool to see u posted video about this year, seeing how was not a big event compared to years past. i went long time ago and it reminds me how scaled back it was any. i was able go cause volunteer so not gotta buy ticket any and do a job to get in for free any. i roamed around to check in with some to see how they was and all. but really so low key and no major studios it was like just off key even though they tried to have something. so 1 day was enough for me like years ago but hope all gets better to go more days next time any. had such a small budget i didnt even buy comics or any else really lol. i just stayed downstairs since any i had to do was ground level so didnt venture up stairs any. tried do blood drive but shirt wasnt any studio stuff and was just simple print of sp ed any. so save space no new shirts to get or cared to get any lol.

Finally got around to watching this. It's amazing to see conventions again this year, although they've been implementing Covid-19 safety precautions. Great to see Comic Con again, even though its only a "Special Edition". Hope you had a great Thanksgiving Shawn.

Show me your papers at the door actually decreases the amount of people who show up. Imagine that. I read it weekly of venues & stadiums reversing this decision because they're all losing money. Coachella & Stagecoach, 2 of the biggest California music festivals reversed their show me your medical history at the door when their pre sale tickets were not selling at all when they normally sell out Coachella im hours on pre sale. Imagine that
The only year I went was 2005 and it was way more crowded and had a lot of the major studios there.

Great video, Shawn! Woulda loved to also have seen a Dollar Tree DVD & Blu-ray video drop done from the DT locations out in the San Diego area since there was a new one this past Friday. Woulda been curious to see if those stores got in any different titles
I Think I was filming right next to you. The event was fun and this year was able to capture allot of Cosplay.

Liked your video. Was started to watch another guy and he was putting me to sleep. That was cool you got in early. One year we got in with no passes. They didn’t see us get in through the outside clear elevator and we were like ahh should we be here? Lol Then someone asked for our badges 😏

Thanks for a look at SDCC Shawn! Always loved the thought of US Conventions. Covid & Lockdowns hit conventions hard, here in my state of Australia at the start of the year we had Oz Comic Con Pop Up (so it was much smaller, local talent instead of international guests etc), there is another on next weekend in Sydney. It'll be the same to get in - showing proof of vaccinations, mask wearing and here we have to sign in at locations via QR codes

Seeing you in there yourself was awesome. It gave the proceedings a cool & eerie vibe. It's only right you get the VIP treatment, Shawn :)...it was almost a shame when other people came in. The sound of encroaching nerds is pretty scary!!

They was lucky enough to be able to have during a pandemic right now. it was a smaller scale not really alot to check out. so guessing it be back to bigger next year , idk.
