professor mcgonagall is singlehandedly the best character in this entire series. the entire series would've also been shorter but more interesting by a hundred times if harry was left under her care, and i will fight people on that.
On the one hand, Harry wouldn't have that bloodline protection thing, saving him from Voldy-butt all the time. On the other hand, he woulda been able to transfigure Mr. No-Nose into next week with a Bippity-Boppity-Backhand, _and_ he wouldn't have had to deal with the Dursleys. My vote's for Mama McGonagall.

Ron's tea leaf reading for Harry in this film is actually in line with the confrontation in the Dark Forest in the final book. Harry did indeed make a huge sacrifice and he was "happy about it" as in he was doing it willingly and with love.
I feel like I remember reading that the night bus only comes if you hold your wand over the road. So Sirius barking could have been him trying to get Harry to pull his wand out so he could get a ride. But again that's only if I remember correctly
