This is the beauty of your Vlogs. You do not just show beautiful hotels but you show beautiful hotels in beautiful and amazing places.
Thank you so much 🙂
I love how this design perfectly complements the landscape while simultaneously allowing you to see it with those massive windows.
This mini USA adventure will help these places to be known for us all. Thank 👌.
Vraiment !❤
At $1,200/night there are better and more luxurious choices. The cubes look like they were prefab and dropped on-site. Interesting property. Thanks for sharing the experience.
Looks more like an office park
@@grahamwatson3777 That was my first impression, too. Not to mention being barely 100 yards from the busy freeway! Not sure what they were thinking building this where they did. C'est la vie.
So much about this place misses the mark. The interior design is a tacky mess, landscaping looks like a theme park, the food is basic and it is beside a busy road!
@@nancyneyedly4587 I can't get past the feeling of 'claustrophobia' when it comes to Ambiente. An odd word to use in a beautiful open area like Sedona, but, as you say, it "...misses the mark..."
Small pool
Now this truly is my backyard. I have a place in Sedona, for 20 years. I know of Ambiente and the talk is that it is splendorous. While the town has changed over the years, the feeling of The American Southwest lives on in places like Ambiente, as well as the land, the sky, the spirits, and the history. Thank you so very much for showing this little dot in the world.
Que bonita descripción..un saludo desde Almería (España)❤
Stunning! I want to go here! So tranquil and Sedona is special in itself.
I am absolutely loving this new series!
The ambience at night is just stunning. The food looks very delicious and well presented. This hotel looks like a great experience to me. Thank you for the video . A vicarious experience is still pleasant
Beautiful place and I love the lighting they have at night!
Sedona is magical. Thank you for experiencing our planet beyond the Maldives.
Such a stunning landscape.
Just that expressway in the background ruins a little bit of the magic. When you go to places like this, you want to see nothing but nature and stillness
What a beautiful place! I never even knew this place existed! Definitely gonna go there on my trip out west, thanks for the tour 😊
Sir, your Videos are amazing. And your recording with phone by Hands...Skillfull as F... tripple plus quality ! Thanks for it !
I love it. The hiking activities are definitely a plus.. I'm such a girlie girl. A spa is always mandatory.
Wow…absolutely stunning views, but the traffic noise would be somewhat distracting. As usual, a beautifully made video….thank you
I do love the design of this hotel, it's so unique!
The colour of suites outside are really well match to the surroundings. the colour inside the suite looks really good too. Hopefully that could be other type of suites, if someone simply travel with their parent/ children/ sibling, especially the shower/ bath were totally opened.
Hiking should be endless fun during 39th minute, the landscape... WOW.... thank you, Expert, I hope you had wonderful time there :)
Thanks for featuring Sedona! You MUST check out The Enchantment Resort in Sedona. My wife and I have traveled throughout the world and this was top notch! We had A WONDERFUL stay at Enchantment and looking forward to going back soon!!
Very nice! We go just to eat at the restaurant.
What is the purpose of those roof length benches that run along the line of grass on the sundecks?
They weren't even wide enough to sit at and have some nibbles and drinks ... Also, telescopes need to be provided for watching the night sky ... and too barren up there on the roof.
Sedona is supposed to be one of the highest spiritual vibration areas in the country, as well as Haleakala on Maui. Portals. Active night skies. Now it's become another tourist trap. And this property seems to cater to the higher end of this. Prettily lit at night. Food looked tasty! I guess that I'm not so sure the industrial look fits in with mother nature. My dream like this would be structured out of woods and rocks and boulders as much as possible! Happy trails, dear LTE!!
Thank you for this beautiful video, I really enjoyed it. Thank you very much.
The hotel is very interesting and original. The food looks tasty. One detail catches my attention. Is it a hotel for couples only? I didn't see children!
What a stunning hotel! Great tour Dr. LTE!
Sedona is gorgeous. I love the architecture, the landscape, and the decor. However, the road noise is very distracting. I live in a city and I don't hear that kind of noise in my neighborhood. I don't like the room layout. I would prefer a wall blocking the view of the bathtub from the front door. This property is beautifully designed, but would have been better suited to a location farther from the highway. The traffic noise is something I would expect if I were paying $100 per night as a "passing through" stop. Sedona is a lovely place - curious to see if you visited other hotels in the area!
Please make more films on greece! My favorite country for vaction!
The fire escape/roof access will be a burn hazard on a summer's day lol, don't touch that hand rail! The same goes for the fake grass, ouch!
Sedona is a higher elevation than Phoenix and the average temperature there barely reaches above low 90s in the summer. If you've not experienced the Arizona landscape, you might want to better understand it before making statements like that.
@@fragout9575 lived in rim country. Payson and Prescott.
@@AkinaMedia then you should absolutely know better than to say the crap you did.
Wow❤
Perfection as always from you mate, a joy to watch. Would love to see you visit Zimbabwe and stay at the Victoria Falls Hotel and Bumi Hills safari lodge on Lake Kariba, not as grand as most of the places you visit but wonderful in their own African way. Stay safe and well.
Toller Report! Danke! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hello Traveler, I wonder, did they build around the landscape or landscape around the build ??
How did they lay all the water piping around the landscape to make it look so clean and tidy? The landscape is truly magnificent.
An interesting concept, but ultimately I feel the boxes are quite dull in an otherwise awe inspiring landscape... Plus the metal fences around the pool are awful! It looks like a prison 😕
Wonderful video as always, for my Saturday mornings. What airport did you fly into for Sedona? Is it possible to add names to the captions for the dishes served at meals? Sometimes it’s obvious what it is, sometimes not. I would be tempted to lay on the daybed at night to watch the stars overhead.
You fly into Phoenix or Flagstaff.
Aaah...the Residence, LTX style. Can't wait. 😁
😉
I'd love to hear that 2-story windchime 🌬🎶
I love your video but unfortunately, this resort is not quite the resort for me.
I feel as though, I don't know exactly what they were aiming to achieve here.
The "atriums" look better from the air view, in my opinion.
Also, I feel as though the decor ideas don't really coincide with the outside "rustic" look, just my opinion though.☺️
Anyway, you did a wonderful job with filming this video, as you usually do.❤
Joni, all of the atriums are built on a platform so 80% of the natural landscape on the property was not disturbed. All of the streams were the pre-existing natural washes which were enclosed to create a sustainable and recycled water system. The atriums are half glass so that when you stay you have 180 degree views from inside the room and 360 degree views from the rooftop terrace.
Agreed, they decor can't decide if it's rustic, lux or industrial. It needs some editing, it all looks a bit cheap.
The setting is magnificent and your filming is, as always, superlative.
However I feel that the rooms lack privacy and I don’t think they nailed the industrial look as well as that hotel in the train on the bridge in Africa that you featured.
Would love to see a video of your top ten hotels of all time… and I’m still hoping for that top ten Eggs Benedict ranking 😉
Nice! I have driven by and wondered....
Sedona is a beautiful place but just too many tourists for a small town. I saw them building that hotel when I was in Sedona a few years ago. Also, a nice side trip to go see is the blue arches of Mcdonald's the only one in the world.
That’s such a beautiful part of the country. Thanks for sharing😊 I do wish the rooftop was a bit more private.
Everywhere I see a golf cart driving I now have to think of Soneva's short-distance Tesla model S
I love the idea and look of the pavilions but gosh the decor is 👀 - and some of the materials seem questionable…
I used to live right down the street from this location - Sedona and Jerome have gotten really built up in the last couple of decades…still such a wondrous area of the world
Yes, the decor needs some editing to say the least. I'm bothered by this mess of TJMaxx looking pillows at 6:30. And in the room, who is trying to make diagonal pillows a thing? There's just too much misplaced cheap looking decor that it took away from what could have been an industrial meets outdoor design. They should have leaned more rustic and less lux on a budget. The purple lights in the pool suits Dubai, but not a "landscape" hotel in the Red Rock desert. My say something nice is the large chime leading to the spa is nice.
Nice 👍🏻
I prefer this resort to the last one.
Top, greets from Fuerteventura
The view is breathtaking but I don't know why we should travel that far just to stay there.
for my taste best welcome amenities ever🤤 What a difference compared with amangiri's cheap green apples...
Se ci fossi stata nn guarderei il tuo video!!!
Hey Doc… When are you working as a doctor ?!!!?😂
I love the way you are filming, very slow… We don’t see yourself explaining this or that, that’s cool also.
🤩🤩🤩
Landscape hotel like red rock mountain ⛰️
I love your videos! I always wonder about the soundtrack in your videos, it would be nice if you could share it todo 😊
The music is from Epidemic Sound
A great video as always. Thank you! ❤
I also wanted to say that I visited Brussels this Tuesday and Wednesday with my colleagues (one of our embassadors in the European Parliament invited us) and prepared a tour for some of them for the second day. I watched your video of Brussels and chose some sites and looked up information about them. So, thank you and it was very nice to see your beautiful home town. ❤
I don't think I will ever visit the USA (maybe only a friend in Colorado with my family) because there is so little I find interesting/likeable about the country. Basically only the nature. But I still enjoy your videos about it.
Also, the nearby road seems to be quite intense.
Bwa ha ha ha.
Not mocking the tour. Standard fine walkthrough, thank you.
And I probably wouldn't laugh if they didn't call it that.
Nice property. Do You have any video related to Yosemite or Yellowstone?
Not yet
The landscape was stunning , the black cubes not so nice , and seeing the bathtub when you opened the door was odd.
Amazing video and hotel. It respects the colors of Arizona. From where you get your music? Tks
Epidemic Sound
By 'ambiente', did they mean 'Road noise'?
Is that real grass on the rooftops? How do they mow it? They couldn't possibly drag a lawn mower through the villas and up the stairs.
Beautiful. Shame about the highway being so close. Nothing relaxing about the sound of cars and trucks.
I totally agree. And no shade at all on the atrium rooftops.
Room is kind of "meh". Guess I don't like small open plan huts. Now something else must be over the top to prove to me that this is true luxury, and not only expensive because it's newly built.
I mean we're speaking in American terms here, one of the countries where consumerism standards are damn high.
How is this "the first" landscape hotel in N.America? There are others that opened before this one and most of them are better executed.
Be honest! Not saying the is not good, it looks really good! But is just like a luxury motel, no more lol even the pool is small lol
09:41
way too close to the highway.... otherwise it's nice
Not my favorite hotel/resort featured on this channel. I don't think that the overall design complements the landscape at all, and its proximity to a very busy road is distracting and annoying.
Agreed! Right by that road?! Isn't Amangiri a landscape hotel, it opened in 2009, so before this one, so this isn't the first. Amangiri is leagues above this place, but the price reflects that. It seems like it's trying to be lux, when it should have leaned into rustic.
And you can tell that things like the patio furnishings aren't bespoke to the hotel, or the lobby desks weren't designed with function in mind as they have some random black cabinets stuck against the window that stick out like sore thumb.
6:31, this mess of TJMaxx looking pillows, the design choices need some editing.
And the landscaping reminds me of a theme park with the fake moulded stones. I'm not even done the video and I am not impressed. When he stated the resort was owned by a family and not by a prominent hotel brand, it is obvious.
I just got to the lunch, "here's you two scoops of ice cream on a plate", can you not even bother to shape them into Quenelles? 26:40
Then don’t go. Sedona holds wonderful energies. That busy road you speak of quiets in the dusk. If you lived here you’d know that.
Agreed! Nope. I'd be there to get away from all the pollution and noise. Bad location for a 'relaxing spa like getaway'. I'd go to the last desert spa he posted though..AND That ending? Yikes. I'm almost passed out just watching the hiking.Yeah. That's definitely NOT on my bucket list! 😂😯🫣🤢😳😐
Horrible architecture. It looks something from the 80's refurbished. From the room you see other cubes (atriums, as they call them), not just the vastness of the landscape as in Amangiri. And you can see cars passing as well. I wouldn't pay so much to stay there.
I guess it's not for you then. I am sure they won't mind.
Comunque mettere metallo in un paradiso simile nn .i sembra proprio il massimo
NO ! I didn't watch this and the 2 previous videos for hotel in the desert. Just some seconds to see some parts but enough to have an opinion.
Love your video and skills! But unfortunately not loving the design of this hotel. Less would be more in this case.
Interesting concept. Too bad it's situated right on the highway. That's got to spoil the peacefulness, especially if you're on the rooftop deck.
Sorry I am NOT feeling it. 2 hours one way hike, I just keep expecting an animal to come out and I’m thinking how far I have to get back for HELP.
Did you need to repeat "Ambiente: A Landscape Hotel" over and over and over in the subtitles? I knew where we were from the video title, the intro, and the lobby visit.
I assume you've asked for permission to film prior, however it still amazes me people didn't ask for blurred face given how up-tight Americans are with the privacy 😂
Motel de beira de estrada melhorado
Wow looks like a weird ‘luxury’ distopian military base. Even the staff dressed in black look more like security - unsettling.
Title auto translate just fiddles around with me removing the adjectives at the end of the title to de-clickbait the video for DeArrow users...
Or the obvious reason this channel exists at the end in brackets.
A place for elderly hippies
What a mess
Not very attractive if you don't get to stay in an atrium with unobstructed views....
"We take conservation and environmental challenges to heart," says the Ambiente website. It's a bit of a shame to then find the menu offers South African black mussels and South American shrimp. Anyone for air miles?
Nawww! Too close to the road. All that road noise. it’s just an overpriced motel6 next to a truck stop. No thanks. Your room even overlooks the busy highway! $1200/night!?!? Fakkthat! I’d rather stay at Foxxi’s Motor Lodge for $162.
Short-term rentals, high end hotels and developers greed has destroyed Sedona and just about every other cool place in this country.
Not a fan of the architecture or layout to be honest. Not ambient at all!!
Really, really ugly. It's an eyesore from both the inside and the outside. You would have to pay me to stay there.
I wouldn't go to US unless it is absolutely necessary out of a busniness reason. I have more than enough unpleasant experiences with the inexplicable, one of a kind 'TIP' rules of their own. Plus you always have to be on alert as anyone might pull out a machine gun.....
