      My ceiling is at an angle, not flat. Can I cut the chimney covers so they are flush with the ceiling?

    But you did not mention where do we get the outlet jnstalled, how far up on the wall so that the cord on the hood can reach it. My electrician wants to know before he starts installation . Thanks

      Hi! The cord that comes attached is 3 feet in total length.

    I have the same range hood. Can you please tell us where is the oil cup that we need to clean regularly?

    • @Hauslane

      The oil cup is attached to the blower on this model!

    Do I need a hole to vent,or can I use it without it?

      Hi -
      The WM-530 can be converted to ductless, with the use of charcoal filters (sold separately)

    Where does the duct work go? Is it attached to something within the ceiling? Ois it just poking up into an attic?

      Hi! Thank you for your question. It will depend on your current setup where you will need the duct work to exit. For some, the ductwork will need to go up, then into the back wall to exit out of an exterior wall. For other setups, the duct work can go all the way up to the roof to exit at the top of the home. For either setup, you will want your ductwork to end up at an opening outside on the roof or wall to ensure maximum efficiency. Our recommendation for Hauslane units is that there be no more than 14ft of total ducting to ensure maximum airflow.

    I plan to purchase this exact unit because you can swap out the light bulbs for other color temperatures to match your kitchen. I don't know why this isn't a more common feature in other brands.

    • @Hauslane
      @Hauslane  3 года назад

      Yes. It actually costs more to implement this feature. At Hauslane, we care more about the customer experience more than the costs of the product. If you have any question, you can find us on our website: www.hauslane.com.

    What size bit did you use for the drywall anchors?

    • @Hauslane
      @Hauslane  2 года назад

      Hi Charles, It can vary per model but I believe depending on the model we have different sizes WM 530 comes with anchors that need a 5/8 drill bit.

    Do you know what this yellow outlet is called ? Where can I find ?

    • @Hauslane
      @Hauslane  3 года назад

      The yellow outlet is a representation of an outlet in your kitchen. It is not uncommon to have no outlet. In this case, you would need to either hardwire the range hood or install an electrical outlet. Please have a licensed electrician to perform these works.
