Hey it’s Cooking With Cash owner & chef at Lumberjack’s Taco Shack!!! Let’s work together. I need one for a 10k firman - love this. Love culinary skols zombie box. That’s where I saw it I’m action
Could make one for my neighbours noisy massive air conditioning unit with a chimney higher than the windows of our house for all the heat as well? Pool pump too?
Hello, is nice to find this information, I have a Generac generator and I looking for a way to reduce the noise, how I can get the noise reduction box. can you give me the information please, I will be glad to know about it. Thank you. Sincerely. Wally.
The generac dealer told me that a quit box could not be install on the Generac because its need to get air I wonder how this company zombie box solved the air flow problem.
They absolutely can, there are thousands in use as we speak! Generac doesn't know how these work at all. They've never tested one. These enclosures use the generators own air flow system to keep them cool. The box does not restrict any airflow to or away from the generator.
The standby enclosure does not use a powered fan since the generators have one built in. The boxes for the portable generators use a high volume, low amperage fan. It plugs right into the generator and uses a little more than 1 amp.
Why are you being deliberately vague zombie box? The heat build up can easily cause failures, as can impeding the air flow. When the generator manufacturer does void the warranty, does the legal language zombie box provides indicate if the zombie box manufacturer will cover the cost of repairs to the generator? Generator warranty language is fairly clear regarding clearances. Your contraption is or is not within 3 feet of the ends of the unit?
A call to Generac and you learn that they will no longer support the product if the Box is installed due to reduced air flow and hot air buildup which could fry the control unit.
@@spazgoob You can call Generacs warranty department and they will tell you that it voids the warranty. That’s all the further I have gotten with them. We are a Generac Dealer that services their warranty on their products. I’m not sure exactly what the reasoning is.
@@spazgoob My guess is that it is an airflow issue. We had a customer that installed one and the control panel on the generator melted. They removed it and we replaced the control panel. However they did lose their warranty.
A typical rule of thumb is that you will spend 2x the cost of the generator on wiring plus the compartment. In my case I had a Honda generator (expensive) and decided not to go with Zombiebox and built my own compartment out of concrete blocks with expensive sound insulation and metal doors and lid and it came out to 3x. I cannot talk to the quality of Zombie box other than to say it is attractive has sound insulation and at $3 grand not unreasonable. The only way to beat this is to go with a Suncast or other brand of plastic garden shed and stick your generator inside that and enjoy all the attendant risks that go with a plastic shed; like fire, weathering and security.
Horrible how this 100 years old technology of oil power generators is still in use and Mankind can't come up with a really good stable energy solution for the crap of generating sufficient and abundant energy 😞
You should presume any video from a manufacturer about their product is an ad… also any “review” of a product and the person gives a discount code is an ad, because it’s sponsored….
What a Amazing product! I wish all the people in the Hood knew about these!
People in the hood cannot afford whole home standby generators

The big question is will using the Zombie Box void the GENERAC warranty?
More videos. It would boost business for sure!
Some chance to sell it to Brasil?
Dude is like. Bro I just want to watch tv
We all have different reasons for reliable power and quite power.

It looks like it uses a bit of the generator to power a fan on top for air circulation

Does this void the warranty?
It does not affect the generator, cause of failure determines if a warranty is voided or not.

@@RichTuttle-c8x to quote Mr T….I pity the fool who bought this….plural
Generac will void the warranty if this is installed. No proper air flow!
Can you provide a statement from Generac that proves that, along with test data that validates insufficient airflow?

That box voids the warrenty. The generator wont have proper air flow. Very bad in the summer
But 2000k??
Close to 3 grand for an enclosure? I’ll just buy ear plugs!

I’m sure handing out earplugs at the Rv park will go over really well 🙄🤦♂️

Nuclear is always an option!
Super expensive!
