My advice to you - if you want buy any fruits you should buy them at the street or night market. Because its cheaper. At night market you can get 10 apples only in rm10
Sunami, the listerine mouthwash is just RM30.00 for a two bottle pack ( 750ml ) and you can get it at most of the small pharmacies outlets like Watson and Guardian. Also the ' kaya ' is just RM3.00 and is available in most K99 SpeedMart outlet shops. No need to go to AEON and get ripped off.
Me and my sister love Japanese stuff and I also like their cultures, anime, so I am very happy to find a lot of Japanese stuffs here in Malaysia 😊 Someday I wanna go to Japan 😆 Thank you for your hardwork!
I believe Tsukiji market in Tokyo has been relocated to another location. Also, prices are usually quoted per 100g in the fresh produce and meats section. I think it would be good to consider local versions instead of imported versions of products, not just from a cost point of view but it is more "green". Unless of course there is no local version. Good video!
When you say Sukiya is cheap in Malaysia ,i was suprise because RM20 for 1 bowl can be considered luxury price. In Malaysia any food that above RM17 can be considered Luxury and not much people dare to eat them because it can be consider expensive. The ramen price is expensive because of tax and transport from japan.Nothing can be done much with the price. You can look the alternatives goods which IS MAGGIE MEE .is cheaper goods
You can find a lot of Japanese stuff in Malaysia. In fact there’s many Shopping Mall do sell Japanese foods and many more. There’s a lot Japanese Restaurants too. You can go to Bukit Bintang’s area, there’s lots of Japanese foods stall at Lot 10 and also the famous Don don donki. From there you also can go to Pavilion or Isetan KLCC. All are walking distance if you have plenty of time and not in hurry. And even now you also can go to Lalaport BBCC cause recently just open , there’s Japan’s brand Nitori and match eight.
You can buy Maggi as it's cheaper than ramen and other international products. Also, you can try shopping at the mall such as Econsave, Mydin which the price is cheaper than Aeon.
You can checkout samurai dad in malaysia channel. He always post video about daily expenses of his family of four. He has 2 children going to international school. His daily expenses is about RM10k+ including rent, education, bill and food.
Great video, but I’m sure by now you realise that AEON is actually a classy place so there price is actually higher. Looking forward for a video visit to a local market with cheaper price, like Mydin, Econsave or Eco-shop
maybe the reasonable price for the ramen made from japan in malaysia country a little bit higher is the import and export cost. btw, good review on your routine lifestyle in malaysia.
Hi Sunami, other than Aeon, you can try go to other supermarket example EconSave or Mydin. I would not say cheaper than Aeon, but quite reasonable. For the fruits, you can try night Market or sell beside the streets, much more cheaper. I do also understand might be it is your first time here to shop and due to distance from your house.

I go to market where locals go. As a foreigner, you may patronise Japanese store or supermarket but try shop like a local at local markets and restaurant. You would get competative prices for similar items. Be a smart shopper.
