I watched this yesterday and immediately pre-ordered LE 1.0
That vid reminded me to upgrade to ultimate lmao :') Been playing the game so long I almost forgot it wasn't finished yet. Since I've already got so many hours in EA I figured it's only fair to throw them an extra bone. Best part it's only cosmetics so absolutely nobody gets screwed as a result as well.

i love LE has a button to direct minions to a specific enemy, i dont know why D4 doesnt have something so simple
Cuz its stupid and woul break the game. You would not only command ur minnion to attack, you would command my minions to attack as well.

According to the LE devs, it's actually a really hard thing to do right. LE's minion button isn't perfect, but hell, at least it has one.

I've had alot of people telling Me don't waste my time basically with Last Epoch. I personally am excited as well but they'd say of it's just one tunnel to the next not very good monster density not open world like d4 this and that. And there's no end game and easy bosses. To them i say I'll be the judge of that!

Being able to craft literally everywhere is amazing
What I hate most is that everytime Last Epoch adds a new piece of content it's actually unique content so I have to learn it all over again... I mean in Diablo 4 I only had to spend 6 months learning how to fight the scourge of the land once and now he's recycled as the Son of Malphas so I can save those 6 months and spend them on running more variants of helltide instead. Now that's what I call quality of life.

Loot filters is not for everyone...but a game with so many loots with limited space without it is also not for everyone...but if its made to be optional like its there when you need it, then that game can be for everyone...LE's loot filter is unmatched in my experienced.
As a Diablo fan from the first one, I'm definitely going to play this game when it come out.

SO far as set items go in LE, if you pick the Circle of Fortune guild, eventyually one of the powers of it is that if you would drop 1 piece of a set, the entire set drops with it.
Im guessing thats the SSF tree? and it sounds awesome because the sets aren't wow sets or d3 sets they are kinda meh but fufill a purpose
@@Jabarri74 circle of fortune is the non-trade faction you can choose when 1.0 releases. You can either trade or have super buffed drop rates essentially. But neither locks you into ssf. You can still play with people in CoF you just can't use the trade market

Regarding that comment on World of Warcraft Shoulders, there is a place in the current expansion where you can turn almost ANY piece of end game gear into a set piece with no downside except maybe the secondary stats changing on said item.

I much prefer this amazing zoomed in D4 camera where I can't see shit and die from off-screen projectiles.
Started LE, loving it so far. And OMG loot filter is a game changer! D4 wins on looks and campaign, that's about it.
That's really the only thing D4 did right : the visuals. Almost everything else is inferior to all the arpgs released for the past 10 years. Blizzard doesn't know how to develop good arpgs anymore.
The campaign was even kinda lame, the cutscenes were cool though.
@@slaykittens cutscenes didn't disappoint! But for a game that's expecting you to play after the campaign, it fails miserably in that area.
The skill tree part really makes you realize how lackluster the D4 skill tree is...holy shit. Like you can do so much with just the skill fireball alone and make it do several things with several mechanics and D4 is over here like "Do more dmg" or "Do more crit" .. just pitiful

I really did myself dirty playing Last Epoch in Early Access before D4. Hearing what Diablo 4 "was going to do" made me think, "oh wow, these guys must have seen Last Epoch and the other cool ARPGs such as Grim Dawn; maybe we'll even get a loot filter and meaningful crafting..."

How is the delay now? When I tried Last Epoch there was like 1-2 seconds delay after the animation of a skill, didn’t have predictive netcode like POE
That can be universal, I haven't experienced any delays in over 200hrs. It does sound annoying though 🫠

I just started playing Last Epoch outside of a dodge roll mechanic it feels fine to me.
1:20 To be 100% fair there was an expensive early acces version of the game all the way back in Alpha where they wanted to raise money but limit the players. Idk what the minimum was, but I overspend and bought the third most expensive version of the alpha bundles for 240$. I think that may have been the minimum to get to play the alpha. So there was one of thoae in 2018 or so lol
Devs don't have to be greedy on the get-go. Just make a good enough game, and the money will definitely follow.

But really, this video is pretty funny. Makes me want to buy it when it comes out. I know I could get it now and play it but I like to be patient and wait for the official release. I sat on Baldur's Gate 3 for like 2 years after buying it to wait until the official release came so I knew I was playing the complete game with no restrictions and all features that were supposed to be in the game were there. It will be the same for LE. I do hope it's as good as people say it is.
This video is the best D4 content I've seen since the game launched. I just hope ppl will be smart enough to boycott next year's expansion insted of dumping money and make those guys feel right about their poor quality game

The sarcasm was humorous yet he hit the key differences on the head. It seems like the only undebateable pros (at this time) for D4 is, console support, couch co-op, and better graphics.
Brutal but true. Harsh but fair. I really needed this video it advertises a great game and lets us laugh at another.
D4 players are dense AF, otherwise they wouldn't play D4. If D4 had a loot filter, you would only be able to find uniques
I have no idea what drugs you take, but having to go through the long grind with every character doesn´t add to the longevity of the game, it just gives you a very good reason not to twink and stop playing earlier. One piece of fun I always do in every D3 season is to create a full ancient set of armor + weapon, use the jewel to make all of them level 1, add LoN and then hand it to my twinks and dash through the whole leveling phase in 5-6 Torment VI runs. It takes me hours to create the set, and yes I could have all classes at level 70 in 1 hour if I just asked a guildmate, but that´s not the point. It´s simply way more fun my way. Can´t do anything like that in D4 though
Personally I love item sets. The dopamine hit of finding the next item in a set that gives you that juicy bonus, and finding the last item in a set you want feels amazing. Balancing them is always the issue though, I didn't really like D3's reliance on sets that just outperformed everything by orders of magnitude until LoN/LoD.
LE does this pretty well; set items are still somewhat relevant but most BiS gear is crafted exalteds or uniques, so it still feels good to find a set until you start hitting real lategame and crafting and finding BiS exalteds.
Plus they usually make great items for alts. Getting a full set bonus at minimum available level is an enormous power boost while leveling.
How does a game with as large a budget as D4 screw up so badly? the mind boggles.
I like how Darth is a Diablo 4 fan, but is fair and lighthearted with the satire video.

I have played one character to the Monolith and then tested out a couple other chars. Love the game, but I knew I'd want to wait for 1.0 so I haven't touched it in a few months. Now that launch is imminent, it's getting harder and harder to hold off. But there's SO many improvements coming in 1.0 that it's sort of useless to play right now.

I decided to check steam forums to see how hype the LE vets are for 1.0 (I'm very interested in the game and I usually do internet surfing for research on upcoming games). Surprisingly very doom and gloom? Is there any content creator that speaks honestly why the vets aren't happy rn?

Take the steam forums with a major pinch of salt, there are a large number of people trolling and making silly/dumb posts in an attempt to farm steam points with rage bait.
The feeling I get most from other vets of LE / ARPG's is wary excitement.
LE has a good foundation, but we will have to see where it goes in the next year or two.

I love what helldivers 2 did with their microtransactions... you can earn the credits to buy things in their "battelpass" by playing the game or buy the credits... the most you can choose to spend is $20...
As long as it's balanced right this was always the solution. Capped spending that let's people with a career keep up with the no lifes... not the no life's trying to catch up to a whale in vane.
COD has been doing that for years, Blizzard not bothering with that system is a testament to their arrogance and greed. The cherry on top is how the pay only battle pass increases the deficit of meaningful in game rewards 😆
@@Syllaren to be fair there really isn't anything to "catch up" on with Helldivers 2. It's cosmetics, the armor stats you see on the battle pass armor you also get on normal armor.
One of the best things is that the BP doesn't go away like it would normally. They took the Halo Infinite approach where you can keep earning things from previous passes when the new ones drop
@mazohyst1878 collecting cosmetics is often a goal for people, and not having time to farm to limited time one often feels bad.
However yeah that's even more perfect.
@@Syllaren Yeah they did a good job making sure you can keep up with getting everything. The only one you kinda can't is the actual armor you purchase from the store. But they'll always rotate back again so that one's just a waiting game.

This reminds me more of Diablo 2 than D3 or D4 do, so i might play it when I'm tired of Palworld
I will never stop wanting D4 to further support Eternal Realm characters. It's the only reason I would ever log in, is to travel through my chosen favorite location of Dobrev Taiga and its town Margrave, addressing the particular area events, dungeons, loot nodes, and cellars with my preferred character, Denovir the Rogue.
I don't want to play another character, I want to get better at my already established character. I would rather they include a homesteading system or camping system than continue to push seasonal restartings of our characters.
Why all the division? Can't we play and enjoy both games?

the ladder in Last Epoch is the reason blizz delayed theirs. they know as soon as this game goes live the fan base will jump ship to ladder last epoch.
