Dude guess what. I watched your vid and searched up the bumper on marketplace. Found one near me for $400 brand new! Now time to spend a shit ton to get it painted lol
Damn dude that’s friggen awesome! Good shit. But yeah the paint is probably around $300 or so! Still cheaper then the bumper itself from the supplier so you win hahah
Appreciate it!! And we'll be releasing some videos soon! Currently I broke the clutch quadrangle so hopefully we'll be able to fix that this weekend and get her back on the road
Hey! Love the vid. I got the same exact bumper before seeing this vid and I'm currently in the process of installing it. Did you use the silver/black clips provided with the bumper? If so, did you place them on the insert tabs? Thanks!
Thank you! And I just asked Austin (owner of S3) and he said he doesn't remember any silver or black clips with the new bumper. He had an older revision of the bumper so maybe the new one has these clips you're referring to
Looks awesome , did you consider face lifting yours ? That’s what I’m considering just that thing to sort if the headlights can be programmed and what not .
Thank you! And I’ve thought about it but tbh I’m not sure how I feel about the face lift headlight style with the sharp edges on the bottom! Honestly I love how the car looks with the current setup and bumper! I’d assume the headlights might need to be programmed but I’m not 100% certain
Tbh I’m not sure I don’t wanna give you the wrong answer but if you go to the link in the bk-motorsport.com they have a customer service email and number you can ask!
Thanks for the video. I've been wanting to see the bumper in detail for a while. The side close air ducts as you called them are actually open for the RS3 8V in Europe. They channel air to the brakes. I've been thinking for a while getting the same bumper. The honeycomb side grills are partially open and then, the other side of it is closed. Out of curiosity how much of the cover part is blocking the oil coolers if any? I might do the extra work and open them all. As well as the side ones for the brakes.
I would love to get this bumper but i have the S3 prestige 2016 with the ACC, if i get the rs3 bumper do you know if the Rs3 grille with ACC cutout is compatibility to fit in the bumper if I get separately just how you did when you onky had the rs3 front grille?
Damn dude that’s looking very nice, recently got an 8v s3 and your videos are super helpful. What you doing with the old grill , I’d be interested if you were looking to sell it . If not where did you get that one ? cause I’m looking for a good one with the chrome and Quatro on it
Thanks! And unfortunately the oem grille I had I sold. And then this one here that I removed is cracked so I wouldn’t want to sell that to someone broken. But I actually got this grille from german-car-accessories.com . It’s the RS3 style grille. They have the one you’d be looking for!
@@RatchetWrenches awesome , appreciate the link and look forward to more of your videos. Oh 1 question, I see I says it comes with euro plate mounting stuff . I’m guessing I’d probably need to use tow hook spot with a front plate?
Honestly these cars are super picky on what will sound good. Personally I recommend a downpipe and a resonator delete and that sounds the best. I’ve had a 1800 exhaust on it and it sounded like shit with the downpipe so I sold that and did the resonator delete which sounds better. And yes if I have the proper map and supporting mods we can run e85 on it
@@RatchetWrenches I have the downpipe time and my car didn’t have a resonator just a secondary cat, and I wanted to keep that on, which it is the one that came with the downpipe. And delete the muffler, just for a louder overall hopefully not to bumblebee sound..
What material is it? At least compared to oem? Is it durable? (I’m also from NJ so Ik the roads are horrible) can this survive potholes and our weather or will it chip and crack?
I want to say it’s ABS plastic which is super durable. So far I’ve been daily driving it and it’s been holding up great. Granite I try to avoid as many potholes as I can but I’ve hit a few and it’s still structurally sound and doing solid, even the lip is holding up great! I definitely would recommend this compared to an oem rs3 bumper for some serious Money!
Very nice Brother, definitely coming together just right. I eventually want to go in a similar direction with my 2018 S3 I just wish I had the tools and resources to work on my own car though LOL
Thank you! And hell yeah. A lot of the mods tho you can get away with basic tools from the local auto parts store. And you can learn! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask if be more than happy to help
Looks insanely good, might end up getting it for my S3 someday, first I'll do just the grill and see where it goes from there
Thank you and yes it changes the front end completely. But that’s how I started, I did the grill then I wanted the bumper haha.
looked pretty perfect in those rolling shots.
Appreciate that!
Agreed
Bro this bumper looks sick...😩🙌🏾🔥👌
Thank you! Changes the whole look of the front end
Cleanest pfl s3 out there
Thank you!
Good video dude! Just bought a Audi S3 2016. I want to change my grill and bumper
Thanks ! And hell yeah the rs3 bumper and grill really change this whole front end for the better!
@@RatchetWrenches I agree!!

How much was it to get the parking sensors re calibrated
Did it myself via my Autel scanner. But usually it’s pretty pricey to get them recalibrated

The BKm website says you need a $400 support brack to install this bumper. Did you use that?
Nah we didn’t and we don’t have any issues

@@koltenmccauley3274 gotcha okay yeah you can try to delete the muffler and like you said hopefully it doesn’t give it too much rasp!
Pretty sick. Nice job

Where is the grille from and what’s it called?

Yessir! Thank you!
are you looking to sell your S3 Bumper? I would like to buy if you are.
Hahah nah not anytime soon
okay, appreciate you man. Great content.
Looks bad ass
Aye thanks! Complete game changer of a front end
Coming from a auto body tech. Next time you assemble a bumper, work from the center out. Not side to side.
Gotcha thx
Exactly was gonna recommend the same…
Crisp ....
come on man if you got to use glue then it sucks no excuses please.
