Still have a few Marshall amps, a Jubilee that will always stay and a JVM 410H. Never got along with 900. Know the SL-X and the MarkIII were the best ones.
I once had one like that for over 10 years.....He was just standing around with me....The Marshall...is boring! He only has 1 sonud. I was happy when I sold him

Actually the SL-X allows for a variety of overdriven and high gain sounds with the two gain knobs. I certainly love mine.
