    the laser pointer feature seems really useful for divemasters to point out things out to students/fun divers

    I like how warm the color of the light looks, it makes things look nice underwater, it was also impressive by how deep the light can go.

      Yea it’s extremely bright also. The depth exceeds how far I will ever go. Don’t forget to subscribe to the channel for future content and giveaways.

    I hadn't seen this before, pretty cool. My daughter would kill to have one of these. She's a cave tour guide, and has to carry a flashlight, a laser pointer, and a black light so this would save her some space, as well as being pretty indestructible.

    Orchatorch in general have caught my eye recently. i had a Swedish made canister light start behaving unpredictably (it dies due to under-voltage, safety kicks in and turns everything off. cannot be reset until i get back on land/boat)
    I don't like that in a primary dive light so after too much googling (analysis paralysis and all that ) i found Orchatorch.
    Seems to be a solid choice, and if the smaller lights are this potent then I can't see how i will be disappointed with a bigger brother.
    edit: the Swedish light is a good one. i bought mine used and it seems to have brought with it some kind of curse as i can't get it to work properly. so not downplaying the performance on Swedish tech diving gear. :)
    Thanks for putting out these videos, always nice!

      Good to hear from you again Jonas. I have an Orcatorch canister light that I have tested and that video will be released later this month. Every Orcatorch light I’ve tested has been impressive considering the price point. I’ve taken them out multiple times with no flooding or failures. The lumens that these flashlights state are pretty accurate, this light in the video was so bright it completely washed out the video footage. The canister light video that will come out later on was even bright in high mode.

      @@divesoflo yeah i pretty much got my eyes set on he D630, due to a whopping 4h burn time on the max setting, and a 7 degree light angle, it suits well for my future wreck diving adventures.
      So if it's that one i will be sure to watch!
      This torch you have in this video seems like a solid warm-water primary or a good travel light, and an equally good backup light even on a more technical dive.

    Neat light, did a swim through the other day where the laser would have been handy to point out a lobster that was hiding

    Have never seen a light like this. Ideally, I would like a little larger laser light and a dimmable white light.

    • @divesoflo
      @divesoflo  2 года назад

      Yes I completely agree that a stronger laser or even maybe the ability to make it red would be ideal as the green would sometimes get lost. The white beam is like having the full power of the sun at your fingertips, I would have liked a dimmable option so it came out better in the video. The white beam washed out the video and you couldn’t see the stingray that I was trying to illuminate for the video. The lumens were as advertised and would be excellent for night diving. Thanks for watching. Don’t forgot to subscribe for future content and giveaways.

    For me I’ve been searching for a new dive light on Amazon for a while because after 8+ years of spearfishing, my light finally broke. Those ocratorch lights were the best possible choice after seeing all the other generic brands on Amazon.
    Also the luminosity it produces and it’s look is wayyyy better than any other brand. I really hope to win because it’s been so long now since I went night diving and I miss it so much

    • @divesoflo
      @divesoflo  2 года назад +1

      Out of all the lights I’ve tested, this one by far has been the brightest. I wish there was a low mode but if someone is in search of a high lumen light, this is the one

    • @shuozyTV
      @shuozyTV 2 года назад

      @@divesoflo definitelyyyy! I’ve looked at other reviews and they say the exact same thing dude. Normally I tend to choose lights that have more of a larger body and different body style completely but having a light like that would be wayyy more convenient to use when catching lobsters lol

  • @jsmith99cobra
    @jsmith99cobra 2 года назад

    Looks like a decent light, would like to see the laser in use firsthand as it seemed to get lost in some of the video. Would be nice if the light was dimmable as 1000 lumen can be overpowering in low vis conditions.

    • @divesoflo
      @divesoflo  2 года назад

      I couldn’t agree more. It was so bright it washed out the video, even in person it was super bright, great for a night dive but too bright in low light, full light searching for lobster holes. Green laser worked well but yes it did get lost a bit. Thanks for watching and consider subscribing to the channel for more content and giveaways.
