Study Media Informatics at Widener

The Media Informatics major at Widener University is a state-of-the-art program that integrates and leverages programs, resources and expertise of both the computer science and communication studies programs within the College of Arts and Sciences.
For decades, communication theorists have predicted a period of media convergence. That time has come, and the convergence continues to be fueled by developing technologies. The melding of video, audio, and text - all disseminated to mass numbers via the internet, and to individuals via PDA's and cell phones - has led to new career opportunities.
