OMG!! I've been craving honey comb candy! So much, I was planning on trying to learn how to make it myself... I'm so excited to see that Trader Joes has this!! I work right down the road from a Trader Joes... Now I know where I'm going after work ;) YAY!
This (fill in the blank) walks into a bar has been a very popular cereal bar from Trader Joe's for years. They come in many different flavors depending on the season. For example, there is this peach walks into a bar, this strawberry walks into a bar, this blueberry walks into a bar, etc. Two of my favorites are fig and pumpkin. They're just a basic, all around decent cereal bar. Thank you for your videos, they're always fun and entertaining 😊 Just wanted to add that the hand pies also come in strawberry with rhubarb which I prefer over the blueberry and lemon 🍋
A rabbi, a priest, and a nun walk into a bar. The bartender says, "What is this? Some kind of joke?" I don't know about the UK, but the papayas we get in most of the U.S. are picked underripe, and treated to kill off any fruit flies before shipping. They never ripen properly as a result. You can get tree-ripened papayas in Hawaii, and they taste so much better than the ones in the rest of the country. But they can't be shipped to the rest of the U.S. when properly ripened because they're too fragile. It's not so much the size that makes it a hand pie. It's that the crust is folded over and sealed, so you can pick it up and eat it without the contents leaking all over. I suspect the Brookie Caramel Candy Clusters are the result of some efficiency expert figuring out how to use up all the bits and pieces left over from manufacturing runs of several different products.
I imagine they made the blueberry filling extra thick so it doesn't drip in your hand. And generally American pie dough isn't sweet. Maybe it was the butter flavor you didn't like. I make my pie crusts with lard or vegetable shortening so there is no flavor.
Was watching Good Mythical Morning when I realized the same foods from different countries taste differently. May be having a brain blitz but was just thinking of your boxes . Like you could send Starburst to the US but would be different.
Great video guys. Thanks Holly for taking the time to go to Trader Joe’s during your work trip. The story about the movie was hilarious.💕🦋Have a great weekend 🦋💕
Funny, when my grandma came to visit us, she used to go back to Scotland with a bunch of bread bag ties because you don’t have them over there. How on Earth do you close your bread bags? Madness!
You should try our Milk Chocolate Snappers! Now they are awesome! Sweet chewy caramel and milk chocolate but with the saltiness of the pretzel…mmmmm! Now I’m craving one or two or three! 😂
*Honeycomb... In Oregon over at the beach the candyshops make "Seafoam" it looks identical. If you ever cone to Lincoln City or Depoe Bay, Oregon get yourself some Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate Seafoam. ❤ U 2!
We have "fruit leather" here in the USA and I like some of them, but not all. It's kind of like a completely flat fruit roll, but no artificial flavors.
Just a thought but here in USA we have a Mars Bar and a Milky Way, I would definitely order single bars of yours to compare. You might know of others with same name but different ingredients. Also it's interesting how the same product differs in countries. I know UK doesn't allow alot of chemicals, food colorings, and additives that we do...so items like Snickers or M&M's would be interesting to be able to buy the UK to compare to ours. I like that you added the single items to your shop! I keep looking and planning what I'll buy when I have a bit extra some month!
I tried the dried and was also very disappointed. I even tried to pulse it in a food processor and it did not break up. You need to try the dried passion fruit, it’s like a gummy!
The ripe papaya is very delicious. I buy the ones shipped by plane, they are more ripe and of course more expensive. The Samba ones from Brazil are very delicious. But the best one I tried was from Tenerife, it was huge and so sweet.
I don’t think milk chocolate is very popular. There are more semi sweet and bitter sweet chocolate in Trader Joe’s products. Bittersweet (72% cacao or higher) has health (especially mental health) benefits and also less sugar.
If you get a papaya fresh of the tree and ripe it is so delicious but the one you get in the store the come green and never very flavorful. My grandmother used grow them in Okinawa.
Depends on where you are in the states, can be angel candy or sponge candy. We have it all over . Stefanellis candies in Erie Pa have the best.

Yes, they are yum, I think pumpkin’s my favorite when it comes around in the fall! They’re TJ’s version of NutriGrain bars which I ate often as a kid.
we have Crunchie here in Canada. It's one of my favourite chocolate bars.

I absolutely love ALL of Trader Joe's hand pies! I buy them every time they're in stock!
Ooh honeycomb. 😋 Great haul. They can’t all be winners.

My bread ties or clips go straight in the garbage 😆 I just spin/twist the excess bag and fold it tightly under the loaf as I set it on the counter 🍞
I love honey comb.

Another great taste test as always, Kate, and you look so cute in that pink Buc-ee's t-shirt.
The brookie caramel candy clusters are really good too!
Aren’t the Brookie Caramel Candy Clusters the last item that they tried? 🍫

I believe in the USA the south makes hand pies. I have had peach, apple and sweet potato. Mmmm...yummy.

So many awesome treats & goodie’s♥️♥️♥️TJ’s

The fact that there are people out there who've never had a Crunchie Bar breaks my heart!
There are countless “______ walks into a _____” jokes out there. Are they not common in the UK?
In Canada the blueberry pies we call them turn over…
In some places in the 🇺🇸 they are called that

There are a few types of papaya. It can be really nice if you get a good one :) Also you need to try M&S Pretzel Fudge Mini Bites ;)
We always called honey comb sponge toffee. 🤔 We used to go to a British candy shop here in Victoria BC Canada 🇨🇦 that sold it.😋😋
The Tudor Sweet Shop! Greetings from down the road (Fairfield)
@@kates7277 Hello from Sannich the British candy shop was on Yates St downtown 😋
@@newfee1967 yep that’s the one :)
Still haven’t been. Not rushing now.
Hi Kate and Alex and Holly 🥰🍫🍬🍿
I had high hopes for the hand pie. I buy a lot of pies, and I was hoping for something new.
They're really good to me. I buy them all the time when I shop at Trader Joe's. They always have different flavors/filling based on the season
@@AlwaysHavingFun951yes, I buy them all the time, so good!!
This isn't Trader Joe's but I was in line at Target and saw... Sour Patch Kids Oreos?! 😲
''dried it to make plastic bags out of mushrooms.''....is that really a thing? can't stop laughing...
Your videos are getting wittier and more decent
Sherman Oaks is finally getting a new, big Trader Joe’s. The existing one is tiny and awful.
I don’t know if Canada has Traders Joes .hi Alex and Kate
Kate and Alex thank you very much for this video!!! Love to see these Trader Joe's stuff!
